Russians like Donald Trump, but do they believe him?
CNN.com ^ | 07/30/2016 | Jill Dougherty

Moscow (CNN)Maria Katasonova is Russian, not American.

But on Thursday afternoon, the coordinator of a youth group that supports President Vladimir Putin stood alone outside the American embassy in Moscow, wearing a black t-shirt she made herself with a picture of Hillary Clinton on it, along with the words "Crooked Hillary."

The 21-year-old raised one poster after the other, written in both Russian and English: "The New Cold War, #StopHillary."

And there was another word: "Peregruzka" -- translated to "overcharge" in English. The word was also on a symbolic button that the then-Secretary of State handed to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in 2009. The Americans wrongly believed it meant "reset."

"How did the reset end?" asks Katasonova, who herself is a candidate for the lower house of the Russian Parliament. "Many people call the relationship that's developed between the U.S. and Russia the New Cold War. Relations are very difficult."

Katasonova tries to deliver a letter to the embassy but the Russian police at the gates politely refuse to take it, then begin to take snapshots of her and her signs.

She hands the letter to me -- an "Appeal to the American People" entitled "The Seven Sins of Hillary Clinton."

Katasonova blames Clinton for the Arab Spring, war in Libya, political corruption, and global terrorism, amongst other things.

"In Russia, all hope is on Trump, because with Hillary it is the dictatorship of force," she says. "She's used to solving every problem with force. It's crazy! But Trump, we hope he is a qualified person, a person who is ready to talk, to compromise."

A great Trump ad would ask who can be trusted with the Nuclear Code? ...and remind people that Bill Clinton lost the code and Hillary Clinton couldn't even get one word of Russian correct.

Most Americans hate CNN for serially lying.

Does CNN lie more or less than the Russians?

Does CNN ever “tell” anything before clearing it with
the DNC and Obama and Val and Clinton?

Katasonova is smart. Hellery followers are cult-of-the-woman followers.

The Russians know what is going on more than our administration. It does not matter to the as to weather they can believe someone but more to whether they can USE someone. Killery is all used up!

They may also be getting more capitalist in outlook (with a potentially huge oil empire of their own), and a loose cannon socialist is going to interfere with that. Trump, in contrast, is good realpolitik to them. He won’t brook messing around with America, but he also isn’t viewing American greatness through the eyes of vying with Russia. He sees things through the eyes of growing the pie, rather than tearing apart a fixed size pie.

This story and headline exist only to continue the liberal narrative that Trump worked with the Russians to hack the DNC servers.

capitalist in outlook....

The old method of paying warriors was to let them plunder when they won a battle. Modern wars are quite expensive. Economic warfare makes quick money for the dictators so they can line their pockets. Killery is greedy with the morals of Al Capone and Sal Alenski so that no one can trust her.

I believe Vladimir Putin more than Barck Obama.

You can get close to the truth of what Barry is saying if you take exactly the opposite of what he says.

It looks like Trump has successfully branded Hillary “Crooked” even overseas...that’s quite a feat. Trump has already forced changes to the GOP platform (the wall), changes to military tactics against ISIS(bombing the oil), renewed focus on NATO funding (rich nations cheating) and now he is changing the world’s perception of Clinton.

Not a bad day’s work!

No, Hillary, by her own actions, has branded herself as crooked, both here at home and overseas. Even her worshipers know that she is a crook. They just do not care.

The Russians understand - as we should - that Hillary will accelerate the UniParty’s aggressive push against Russia’s borders. A military buildup on your adversary’s border is not “defensive” and Putin has warned for months that war is inevitable if we do not stop. The UniParty is cynical enough to use war will prevent an economic collapse, and arrogant enough to assume that a war against Russia will be limited and winnable. The devil is on the loose, and we are playing with fire. Donald Trump is the anti-war candidate.

Why wouldn’t the Russians like Trump? He’s the only candidate out there who is not slamming the Russians daily, who has said nice things about Putin, and who is talking about working with Russia instead of isolating them? Plus his campaign manager has experience working with Russians.

Trump should disassociate his name from Putin's. If people think that Putin is manipulating our election to favor Trump, some of them will want to defeat Trump in order to frustrate Putin. Trump should do and say whatever is necessary to make sure that people see him as completely independent of Russian influence.
