Tim Cook is hosting a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton

Tim Cook is planning a fundraising event for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to an invitation obtained by BuzzFeed News. The fundraiser is scheduled for August 24th and will be undertaken by Cook as a private citizen, rather than as a representative of Apple.

Cook also hosted a fundraiser for Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan earlier this summer, indicating support for both parties. Thus far, he has not made any such gesture to Republican nominee Donald Trump, who called for a boycott of Apple products earlier this year.

Paul Ryan? That's no endorsement. ALGORE on the board is silly enough. Apple sucks and this is why. This is no longer a fiesty little company, these guys are tax cheats, political activists living off people so ignorant who think their products are cutting edge.

It’s going to take awhile but we need to start extracting Apple, Google, Facebook and Twitter from our lives. Alternatives will certainly come along.

Agreed. I don’t own an Apple product either, and rarely use Twitter, but I will work on FB and Google.

However, I think Cook may kind of distance himself from Hillary Clinton. The last thing Cook wants to be associated with a Presidential candidate with a near-encyclopedic list of downsides—and many people in the Democratic National Committee privately admit those issues.

Tim Cook is planning a fundraising event for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign...

The Hillary campaign would be wise not to invite that bastard islamic muslim who was whining at the poduim at the Hillary convention. That was a filthy towel head with his wife sitting behind him with that filthy blue towel over her head. These are the type of uppity muslims who need to be kicked out and sent back to their tent in the desert.
It could very well be that this islamic old muslim scumbag and his islamic wife might become radicalized and start going amok!

Your “good” moozlums are biding their time until they murder you and your family. Don’t be naive.

Tim Cook is going to have to whip that Chinese labor he exploits a little harder. $2 Billion ain’t enough to get Crooked Hillary elected.

Crack that whip!

He is no longer a private citizen. He is the boss of Apple. Shows you that the major corporations have all gone over to the left.

??? He is holding a fund raiser for her, how can you say he may "kind of distance himself from Hillary Clinton"? Are you trying to justify your next Apple purchase? I will not be buying any Apple products.

If you buy Apple, you can be a proud supporter of both the Democratic Party and communist China all in one go.

I had an iPhone once. It sucked. Bluetooth never worked. Voice commands always seemed to want to call 911. WiFi wasn’t. It crashed when using any graphics program. Battery life was about 4 hours. Overall, it was a lousy experience. Meanwhile, liberals lined up to buy them.

My life is just fine without any Apple products.

Some people -- they appear here from time to time -- staunchly maintain that life is not worth living without Apple products.

No the doubt the iPhone has been a solid seller, and maybe by some measures the most popular product by units sold of an electronic device (no way it beats candy, popcorn, or many other products in units sold), but all products and companies have their cycles.
