If Trump flips Pennsylvania, all bets are off
Washington Times ^ | July 29, 2016 | Kelly Riddell

No state is more important to Donald Trump’s chances of winning the White House than Pennsylvania, and — unlike any Republican presidential in the past 20 years — he actually has a chance to win it.

In the Scranton-Wilkes Barre section of the state — up Interstate 81 in the northeast part — Mr. Trump is so popular that businesses are actually advertising their support of his candidacy.

"Things against Trump: Philly vote tampering. They did it in 2012, they will do it once again, that is almost sure."

According to the PA website, voter turnout was 67.63% in 2012 and 68.65% in 2008.

PA voter turnout was 84.8% in 1968 (The Deer Hunter was set in 1967). Humphrey carried the state. Turnout was 78.2% in 1972 (Nixon, landslide).

PA voter turnout was 79.3% in 1980 (went for Reagan) and 78.2% in 1984 (went for Reagan).

Philly, for all its shenanigans, doesn't have as high a voter turnout as the suburbs and rural areas. (58.8% in 2012.)

I *think* that there are a lot of PA blue collar voters who believed that they would get screwed no matter who they vote for (1996-2012 is when the turnout fell), and this IMO is where the Republicans should focus their efforts.

The one thing different is this is the first time we have instant global communications/Audio/video. You can generate a ton of free media without the corrupt national media.

“Again, though, as we’re seeing more and more as the U.S. population increases, the big cities carry the vote, often at odds with the rural areas.”

In 2010 and 2014, the rats suffered massive losses in the states. In some states like South Carolina, not a single rat holds a state-wide office. This is true in many other states.

The Republicans now control 26 states, while the rats only control 11 states. Increases in population have nothing to do with big cities. Big cities have seen huge losses of populations since the 1960s.

All the population increases are happening in exurbia, and those increases lean heavily conservative. Karl Rove, love or hate him, used that knowledge to win the election for Bush in 2004.

The problem with Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and the utter corruption of that city. If Trump is ahead on election night, rest assured Philadelphia poll results will inexplicably have delays in reporting, but when they finally do report they will have “found” enough votes to give the state to Cankles, even if the total votes cast total 160% of the number of total registered voters.

Trump needs to go to the inner cities and convince enough blacks that voting democrat has give them nothing but misery. If there was ever a time that the black vote was attainable, this is it.

I used to think such a thing was possible, and back in the day (1980 and 1984) I had some very lively discussions about how blacks would see that the Dims were screwing them, and that Reagan was the best option for them, and that they’d support Reagan perhaps as high as 40%. Didn’t happen: The Dims still carried the black vote with percentages in the 90s.

even after watching our once great industry crumble, people will line up and vote for democrat after democrat

You can't blame the industrial decline on Democrats. The Republican Party was bought and sold by the NWO Globalist Cheap Labor Express a long time ago.

I live in PA too.

We’re a Gun State. 7th largest army of hunters in the world.

Coal miners, steel workers, and all points in between. People out of work... listening to that bag of sh*t in a Pants Suit talk about how she’s going to “create jobs”.

The ONLY person in that room who actually HAS and knows HOW to create jobs is Trump.

People vote their pocketbooks and their wallets. When they need t oput food on the table for their families, they’ll vote for the person that will help them do it.

And that person is not Hillary.

Trump needs to have his people ALL OVER this state, for the next couple months.

But yes, he CAN flip this state away from the CPUSA... I’m sorry, I meant the democrats... (did that come out?)

Between Philly and Pitt, Pitt for a very large city, still has some conservative element.

That does not mean we give up. We simply cannot give up the big cities to the Democrats. Trump and the GOP need to aggressively go into black neighborhoods and convince them that voting Democrat has brought them nothing but misery.

The only way this gets pulled off if its such a landslide election that it would be irrelevant.

Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties dictate the state, and both have entrenched vote-manufacturing machines.

Well the Counties of the state can also decide to hold up their vote tallies...in a sense telling Harrisburg, Phillie and Pittsburgh...”release your vote tallies first!...then we will release ours”...Boy wouldn’t that roil the libs shorts...they won’t know how many votes they needed to manufacture!

*That is why the other counties of the state need to work together to hold up their vote totals until the ‘inexplicable delays are cleared up” in the vote tallies of the bigger cities. Protests of such a tactic should be met with...”We sould all release our totals together like one big family...we can wait until Philadelphia is ready to release the 100 per cent of its tally vote!”

the big cities carry the vote, often at odds with the rural areas.

Which is why we need the Electoral College votes to go by Congressional District, which will break the power of the Democrat-run cities.

Unfortunately for Pennsylvania - and the rest of us - the Republican mayor vetoed such a bill. Wonder what the Democrats had on him?

And that’s EXACTLY what the Trump team needs to do: Get with the people in these counties and tell them NOT to release results until AFTER the urban areas infested with the Walking Dems release theirs!

A whole lot of PA voters are conservative Democrats that still vote Democrat. They don’t seem to realize that the Democrats are now commies.
