If Trump flips Pennsylvania, all bets are off
Washington Times ^ | July 29, 2016 | Kelly Riddell

No state is more important to Donald Trump’s chances of winning the White House than Pennsylvania, and — unlike any Republican presidential in the past 20 years — he actually has a chance to win it.

In the Scranton-Wilkes Barre section of the state — up Interstate 81 in the northeast part — Mr. Trump is so popular that businesses are actually advertising their support of his candidacy.

we’ll see; I live in PA, and I know how corrupt it is...and let’s not forget, the voters just overwhelmingly voted a communist in as governor...

I'm not overly familiar with the factors in play in Pennsylvania, but as I recall it was and still is a big coal state. Hillary's promise to destroy that industry can't be playing well in those areas.

Again, though, as we're seeing more and more as the U.S. population increases, the big cities carry the vote, often at odds with the rural areas.

PA between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia is pro-Trump. So will Trump carry PA? It all depends on the extent of Dem voter fraud. Will the Dem’s be bold enough to push the Philly districts beyond 100% for Hillary? We’ll see.

As a PA resident I hope he can do it. It frustrates me to no end how, even after watching our once great industry crumble, people will line up and vote for democrat after democrat - especially here in Pittsburgh. Next to Trump winning the general, him winning PA would be the highlight of my evening.

Simple enough.

Get a bus of people to go there, say you came to vote for Hillary, and then cast a vote for Trump.

True, but Gov. Wolf bought his office. He spent his own money to win the primary, and more of it to win the general election. Besides that the Republican, Tom Corbett, was a born loser.

Trump is no Corbett, as I'm sure you'll agree.

We thought the coal factor would be in play with Obama too but he won PA while still vowing to destroy the industry.

Amen to that. Most of the state is conservative, voters will be out in-mass to vote against HRC.

Even some of the Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) are willing to advertise that they are for Trump:

It’s a foolish and naive statement. Philly is still PACKED with his sons and left wing white ###holes.

The latest polls are very flawed, but show her up by 9.

That’s absurd, but 3 or 4 isn’t.

It’s a left wing state, anyone who says elsewise is wrong.

REALISISM is needed. Make her spend a ton of money there.

But dont count on it to win. There are better places to put our efforts with stronger chances to in.

In the end, I fear PA, NJ and NY will not disappoint the dems, but A LOT of other states may!!

Let’s get those.

Expect voter fraud in Philadelphia.

That will decide PA’s fate.

We will need poll watchers in North Philly.

Lately, one constantly sets the mind to working - NOT on whether or how Trump might flip Pennsylvania, but in an attempt to comprehend just why ANYONE in the US would cast a single ballot for the corrupt and incompetent hillary.

Not just coal mines and miners, but Pennsylvania has many, many coal-fired electricity generating plants.

I would like to believe that. I guess I’m a pessimist.

Still, PA is in play for the first time in a while and he does have a real chance to win it. Here’s hoping he does.

If Trump wins Pennsylvania, it’s not just that all bets are off. It would be over.

Trump will win Romney’s 206 EVs, PLUS

Florida 29
Ohio 18

That’s 253. PA 20 would make it 273. That’s not to speak of at least half a dozen other states he would likely win.

Prayer, prayer, and more prayer.

Is this just a media ploy to force Trump to limit his campaign? I mean it was FL then Ohio then PA so I guess we’ll hit them all before we’re done.

Tom Corbett, was a born loser.

Tom Corbett had his involvement as AG with the prosecution of the Penn State sex scandal.

Even if he did everything 100% correctly (and there is no indication that he did anything at all incorrectly) homosexual pedophilia is not something that it is good for a Republican politician to be associated with, in any way.
