Chelsea Clinton hits the stage at the DNC in a $2,215 Roland Mouret dress
UK Daily Mail ^ | July 29, 2016 | Carly Stern

Hillary Clinton may be a monochrome pantsuit kind of gal, but her daughter Chelsea Clinton clearly can't resist a pretty dress.

The 36-year-old introduced her mom at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night in a figure-hugging Roland Mouret sheath, which she picked out in a bright red hue that was sure to make a stand out.

The $2,215 dress — which was also worn in May by actress Jessica Alba — showed that the mother-of-two has truly come a long way since her awkward teen years during her first time around in the White House.

I’d not heard about the amputation, either. I did a search and nothing came up...just that he’s in danger of possibly have to have (amputation)....amid numerous health/alcohol related issues).

Is this recent news?

It was not second hand. But I know designers will be happy to lend dresses to people with that kind of world wide exposure.

It was a pretty dress from the front. From the back, the zipper all the way up, when Chelsea is very bulgy and big in the back... That did not work. She should have chosen a dress with a nice waist and a more flowing skirt.

Her face was made up beautifully. She cannot help her looks but she looked pretty last night. Her hair was lovely.

Hillary’s hair was like a helmet and her white robes reminded me of that cult leader in San Diego county who made all his cult drink the koolaid to go and meet a comet in space. She attempted a nice facial expression and was able to maintain it and a normal voice for 5-10 minutes. Then the Hitleresque screeching began and the eyes began to bug out like a dying frog. She projects hatred and divisiveness. She has very little humanity.

Donald Trump ad libbed at the end, with real feeling in his voice, “I love you.” Hillary would stroke out if she tried to say she loved the American people.

Still love that SNL skit where she and Bernie are drinking in a bar, and she beckons to him to come forward, she wants to whisper a secret about herself to him. “I don’t actually like people,” she says. Bernie says “I think we all know that already.” Brilliant.

Unlike most FReepers, I thought Chelsea looked nice. It's not fair to compare her to Ivanka.
There's always someone who is thinner and better looking than me.
So what?
We can attack Chelsea for her work at Clinton Foundation because she is earning all those exhorbitant speaking fees.

I understand what you are saying but we just don't like the Clintons!

Not a one of them - and for many very good reasons.

P.S. - Don't forget about no-talent, no-experience Chelsea being hired by NBC as a "special correspondent" in its news division for $600,000 a year.

If that wasn't an NBC corporate move to buy Clinton influence in advance I'll eat my old boondockers.

I was not impress with Chelsea dress. She. could have gotten the same thing for a lot less. She also could have found something that fit her better. Hillary on the other hand was actually wearing a suit that looked nice and very appropriate.. But that is just my opinion.

The “Campaign Cut” is understandable; quick to dry and style. For someone who’s does her OWN hair. Hillary can have a staff hair dresser w/no issue.

My complaint or issue, comment I guess, is that she is almost deliberately morphing into Angela Merkel (has been policy wise, now appearance wise).

Carly Fiorina (I know) at least tried to look feminine.

Ivanka is glorious, and they are smart. A billionaire’s daughter waltzing out to introduce her father in a $100 dress than nearly any woman could buy. Master stroke.

Yep! She got free publicity in front of 40 million people. She is smart and gutsy.

Hillary goes to a beauty parlor in Bergdorf Goodman. Her hair cuts cost $600 EACH and the same amount for the dye job. The store closes down when she comes and she has a “special” SECRET entrance to go into, when she gets her hair done.

not in that dress, she didn’t; that said, I think she is about as good looking as she is going to get, and I’ve seen a lot worse...

the snarky comments are a little much, thoughI did see a good one today about her teeth, and about an ear of corn and a chain link fence...

That's gotta be some sort of pressure suit for high-g turn maneuvers! Right?

I'm waiting for the Democrat media to proclaim Hillary
and Chelsea are at the "height of fashion." And then
say that women will have to wear ugly frumpy Mao suits and
far too small, ultra stretched evening dresses to be in fashion.
