Geeeezers, not the SNL I loved to watch once!
Those guys are terrible.
I can’t get it to work.
Does the show still offer a ‘laugh track’?
The cast is as old as Bill’s Hill The best cast ever was the first. Funny, even though big time libs. “Who killed Buckwheat?”
Haven’t watched it in at least 30 years.
Looks more like Lorne Michaels child has gotten off the tracks.. with all this racial tones & dumb epithets.
I thought it was good.
Thanks, Mercat!
I haven’t watched in years. It was amusing, I watched the whole thing. Really liked the water video. All in all, pretty funny, for liberals, in a low-key kind of way.
I had to laugh when they nicknamed Tim Kaine “Rosetta Stone”.
Decent.
Those guys SUCK. Shat turd day night live trying desperately to be relevant.
I've been watching the show since it debuted in October 1975 and except for a short period in the early 1980s (when Lorne Michaels temporarily left the show), it's been getting better and better.
My kids watch the show and they grumble about it not being as good as the "old days" - except their idea of SNL's "old days" go back to Chris Farley and Adam Sandler.
I have watched every incarnation of the show from '75-through the Doumanian years, through the Miller/Carvey/Nealon/Hartmann era, as they gave way to Sandler and Farley and Spade, as they begat Ferrell, Oteri, Parnell, Poehler, and they gave way to... ugh.
Timid, cowardly, PC, and just plain unfunny writing combined with recycled and in most cases IDENTICAL sketches, unfunny actors/performers, overuse of "parody" sketches over original situational comedy... SNL has become hot garbage water. I know nobody axed me, but the two best eras were the original cast and 1985-92.
