Who wants to bet the NeverTrumper mentioned was an editor at the once-great National Review?

Wouldn't surprise me one bit:

"whereas they can raise money from donors in the event of a Hillary win."
-There will be no future for the rest of us and will be no 2020 if Hillary wins.

They are content with second-tier power and the trappings the first-tier allows them to have IF they control their own rabble and be the loyal-but-not-too-vocal opposition and vote their way.
It is the GOPe way.

If conscientious objector to Trump, why do they believe other conscientious objectors to Trump would leave them high and dry.

That’s morbidly funny. This 1978 incident at Jonestown is where the term ‘drinking the Koolaid’ came from.
I fully remember reading about it.
Nowadays, the Dems talk big, but act small.
Alec Baldwin Rosie O’Donald and Whoppie Goldberg will not be moving to Canada when Trump wins. Canada doesn’t want them anyway.
To: Behind Liberal Lines
Nor would they have any access to a Hillary White House. I disagree with this position. Globalist Cheap Labor Express hacks will always be welcome at a Xlinton WH regardless of faux party affiliation.

National Review has really degenerated since WFB died. They still have Victor Davis Hanson and one or two others but they are really stacked with nonentities - David French, Williamson, Jonah Goldberg. I’m sure they are losing readership but I would imagine they are betting on Hillary-supporting sugar daddies, such as the Koch brothers, to bail them out with money so they don’t have to be concerned that no one reads them. They are finished with the conservative base if Trump wins; they are finished if Trump loses.

They clearly believe a Hillary Presidency is something they can fundraise off people like us over (whom they consider rubes).
To: Behind Liberal Lines
This is the same reason Republicans refuse do anything that conservatives care about, ie abortion, immigration, trade, terror, etc. Solving those problems would end the donations.

This has been obvious all along, but it’s interesting to know someone “admitted” it... even if in the anonymity of rumor.
