Donald Trump says all kinds of crazy things on the campaign trail. But this one could open him up to prosecution—if the Department of Justice was really willing to go there.
Did Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump just call for a felony to be committed? On Wednesday, he urged a foreign government to hack an American citizen and release personal emails.
"Russia, if you're listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing" from emails that Hillary Clinton turned over to the State Department, Trump said in a lengthy press conference in Doral, Fla. "I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let's see if that happens. That will be next. Yes, sir."
Trump himself has had financial interests in Russia. He has also praised Russian President Vladimir Putin and has said that if Russia were to invade NATO members, the United States might not come to their defense.

Actually, there is a very good reason to say it: dominate the news cycle during the Democrat convention.
Anyway, how do we know that any of these emails were hacked? Somebody at the DNC could have chosen to release them for all we actually know. I am not saying that is what happened, only that there is a ton of speculation going on based upon very uncertain facts.

And expressing the “hope” that somebody “finds” something, even a stolen something, is not a crime.
Here’s an example: The Russian “Amber Room” was stolen from Russia by the Nazis. I hope that the Russians find it. How is that a crime?
Here’s another example: the money stolen by DB Cooper is missing. I hope someone finds it.
Or: I hope somebody finds Blackbeard’s treasure.

I listened to Trump’s speech, he didn’t ask for anything to be ‘hacked’ he simply said if Russia was listening, and if they have the 30,000 emails, they might want to release them and be richly rewarded...
What’s wrong in that? There was no more ‘collusion’ than when we found out that DWS, the media and Clinton were proof reading everything before it went out to the American people...
Or for that matter, what about Barky and his ‘hot mike’ to let Russia know right after he’s re elected (how he knew this at that time I wonder) he would help them...that’s a ‘sitting President’ talking about aiding and abetting a foreign country...
No, Trump isn’t in any trouble, you think for one minute we would let Trump take the fall for anything this ‘corrupted government’ is doing? I don’t think Hannity needed to be an attack dog. If you heard Trump say it, he was being sarcastic and the press ran with it as being fact. If it were up to me, I’d explain that way, ask the reporters why they reported the way they did and be done with it. He’s already made them look like a bunch lapdog fools, especially, in this case.

Trump is *not* asking the Russians to hack Clinton’s email. Her emails were already hacked a long time ago. Trump only asked the Russians to “find” them.
ROFL....I remember when he said what he did about McCain, and then held up Lindsay’s phone number up and then read it...I dove for the floor, and the more he talked the higher he got...
