A peeve of mine: lots of FReepers think Obama can abolish the 2nd Amendment with a pen stroke. And the 2nd’s not absolute; as Rush says, if you think so try getting a CCW permit in NYC. But then there’s that pesky Constitution.
There is no confiscation without registration, and there will never be a national gun registry, and if there is noncompliance will be universal, and if the authorities start kicking in doors, chaos & insurrection will follow.
So the gungrabbers are mostly confined to hurling penile insults & trying to reeducate young people. The Australian solution (only partly successful) won’t happen here.

Oh, I understand; productive people will just use illegitimate weapons to protect themselves and their homes, and the government will have the same failures addressing it as they do in the cities.
The Dallas and Baton Rouge murders of cops were just a trace of what Middle America could do if they are pressed - and unlike the urban primates, those cops live amongst Middle America.
I guess knowledge of the U.S. Constitution isn’t one of her strong points.

I saw Kesha on the Graham Norton show on the BBC.
She admitted she would break into homes of celebs she wanted to meet that could help her in her career when she was starting out.
No wonder she does not want you to have a gun.
