Trump is a throwback to what the founding fathers envisioned: a citizen, not a bureaucrat, not a life-long politician, but a private citizen running for office who has pledged his life, his fortune and his sacred honor to serve America.
Not only all that, but a man with enough personal wealth to not be tempted by the venal tempations of which Hitlery simply can not get enough.
I simply can't imagine Trump ever selling us or the nation out for, well, anything.
The thing I may admire most about the guy is that, while he may not have spent much time actually laying block, framing stuff, or wiring it up, those seem to be the guys he's most fond of and helpful toward.
Though on a massively smaller scale, I'm familiar with the hard work of generaling a construction project.
He might've worn a white hat most of the time, but all those buildings speak to an ungodly number of hours and some truly world-class dedication.
