Alaskas credit rating was downgraded by Moodys Investors Services, in the midst of its multi-billion-dollar deficit. Moodys dropped the Last Frontiers general obligation rating from Aa1 to Aa2.
The outlook remains negative, according to the bond credit rating business. This marks the 49th States third credit decline from leading global credit rating agencies, that includes downgrades by Standard and Poors Rating Services and Fitch Ratings.

In addition, Moodys downgraded Alaskas lease-appropriation bonds to Aa3 from Aa2, along with its moral obligation bonds to A1 from Aa3. These two bonds are consistently ranked one to two grades lower than the 49th States general obligation rating.

Interesting the states that are not on the list such as:
California
New York
New Jersey
Louisiana is in a sorry state, a lot of Republicans in the leg are just dems who switched for political expediency, they backstabbed Bobby Jindal, and now they have a lib dem Governor whos beholden to the BLM crowd.
I could never get a handle on why he became so unpopular myself. The simplest reason I guess is the economy was bad and he got blamed, but I can’t say if it was his fault or not.
IIRC, abb, a Louisianian whom I’m pinging, told me Jindal was unfairly slimed by state education establishment.
I know I trust Jindal a lot more than a lot of “Republicans” in Louisiana, I’m more inclined to blame the legislature. A lot of traitor RINOS helped elect this new pig rat Governor.
They have. From the article: "As the state spends down its reserves - which are still enormous - the risks to the state's long-term credit profile will intensify."
Had she not quit Palin would still have been term-limited. She would have been gone in 2014.
But out of curiosity, what would she have done to prevent this?
Jindal also got tarred as someone who was way too ambitious for the presidency and neglecting the state by spending too much time in Iowa and other out-of-state locales, presumably to lay down the groundwork for his run. From what I saw, Jindal did a poor job countering that narrative.
I found the old FR thread from when it (the endorsement) happened, you posted on it, a whole bunch, you must have forgotten.
I find your posting style odd and hard to understand but I get the sense you’re being sarcastically hostile to me because I’m not sharing the Palin love with you.
