PHILADELPHIA — Hillary Clinton's campaign is bracing for the possibility of more damaging emails being leaked to the public as the presidential campaign enters its home stretch.
Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for Hillary for America, said it’s possible that more emails will be released at a time designed to inflict maximum political pain to Democrats. “The WikiLeaks leak was obviously designed to hurt our convention,” she told reporters. “I don’t think they’re done. That’s how they operate. “We can’t know, but it’s part of the reason that we wanted people to understand our belief that the Russians are behind this,” she said. “People need to understand — when these leaks happen — what they’re designed to do.”
Palmieri added that the Clinton campaign was not worried about its own email security.
The first day of the Democratic National Convention was upended by the WikiLeaks release over the weekend of more than 20,000 internal emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC). Some of those emails suggested that officials at the DNC, which is supposed to be neutral during the party’s presidential primary, worked against Sen. Bernie Sanders

Democrats know that it is a baseless lie. It is a diversion and they are hoping that voters will be distracted. With the help of CNN and the MSM, they might be successful.
The Russians didn't write the emails, people in the DNC did.

They had it check by the FBI and it passed their inspection as being hacker proof....
Total media fail not to ask the State Dept Spokesperson at daily briefing: “Did the Secretary of State private email server have more, less, or about the same level of security against intrusion as the DNC email server”?
No straight answer would be expected, but the implied answer is obvious.

If she knows they have been tampered with then she and the DNC should provide to Media the original emails and the server they were on to prove it. This scandal will get bigger and bigger before its over. Its the DEMOCRAT’S WATERGATE 2016.
I have yet to hear one good plausible explanation as to WHY the Russians would want to sink Hillary’s chance to be POTUS.

Rather hypocritical wouldn’t you say, in light of all that is going on and has been exposed in the last couple of days? Of course, none of this is a surprise to FReepers.
Hopefully Trump can tie the security meltdowns together during the debates - or sooner. It should be in an ad in all the swing states.
The same Russia, that when Romney said they were our biggest threat was ridiculed and mocked for being out of touch? The same Russia we had the reset with?
Is there really a principled difference whether the Russians try to influence an election vs the DNC? Circumventing the will of the people is terrible either way.

That’s the most likely scenario as it would be devastating to the Rat narrative post-convention as well as kill any post-convention bump, assuming there’s still any good dirt left in the remaining emails, which seems like a pretty reasonable assumption given how dirty the Dems and DNC are.
