Patriotism took a back seat to racial grievances last night at the Democratic National Convention, as no American flags were visibly present at an event dedicated to picking a political leader for the United States of America. Alex Pfeifer of the Daily Caller was among those who noticed:
The Daily Caller is at the Democratic National Convention and it doesn’t look like there are any American flags.
The stage is bland and grey, with no red, white or blue present. A thorough look at the crowd present also turns up no American flags.

Seeing ‘Rats with the flag is always a jarring juxtaposition anyway.
Trump should show an A/B comparison in an ad. A picture is worth 1000 words, after all. Come out and accuse the RATS of being unpatriotic. Let them bristle and sputter and start spouting pro-America slogans while cursing and grinding their teeth with rage.
That’s how Trump has changed the political landscape. We DON’T have to put up with the left’s BS anymore. We DON’T have to be politically correct. We DON’T have to be afraid of the shrill librarian-types among them pointing their skinny little vegetarian fingers at us and lecturing us because we’re - I dunno, using too much gasoline, or running our air conditioners too high, or simply not agreeing with them. We CAN and SHOULD taunt them. By mocking them we can SHOW them up for the anti-American, vile, shallow, stupid creatures that they are.
Many in the crowd said it, but I am sure here were many who skipped the phrase.
Democrats hate America.

Not quite true. There were some being walked on by attendees and protesters pushing their pet causes.
Democrats are Democrats first.
Being an American is way down on their list.
Having been clear at the last convention that there is no GOD on their platform....they threw Him out completely.

The dems have managed to get America out of their convention. Now we need to get the dems out of America.
Interesting that there are no flags. Statistics show better support for people flying the flag than hiding it. Recall discussions about that over the past years. Guess they don’t care.
It would have appeared to be ‘nationalistic’. Surprised a u.n. flag wasn’t on display.
U.S. flags are banned in some schools around the country as being ‘divisive.’
You guys really need to keep up.
My understanding is that an American flag on display at a large Democrat gathering is a safety hazard, as they are prone to catch fire.
