I think that as long as the hacking was due to “incompetence”, it is OK. Isn’t that the precedence that was set?
Yes, notice the focus is not on the fact of what the DNC did and how they conspired against Sanders, but that it may be the work of a foreign government LEAKING the material.
They weren’t really hacked. This was all part of an elaborate sting to try and catch hackers. They weren’t actual emails but scripted to foil the would-be hackers. Really, no really, honest.

how about investigating why the DNC was paying the BLM leaders to stir up social unrest.

The FBI investigating the many crimes that are shown in the email. Bribery, fraud, election fraud, corruption, conflict of interest and other crimes are documented in the emails.
But the system is rigged.
So, Hillary broke various laws regarding the handling of classified material for four years, then it took years of hearings and lawsuits (by Judicial Watch mostly) before the FBI would even consider “investigating”... but one weekend of embarrassing news about this leak is all it takes to engage the FBI?
