There is Nothing Honorable About Losing to Hillary
American Thinker ^ | 07/25/2016 | Karin McQuillan

Posted on 07/25/2016 12:54:35 AM PDT by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

In 2008 we had John McCain, who was too honorable to criticize Barack Hussein Obama. In 2012 we had Mitt Romney who again was too honorable to attack our first black President. Now we have Ted Cruz who is too honorable to honor his pledge of party unity, too honorable to protect our Supreme Court from Hillary’s potential nominees, and too honorable to help us win. We have all the Libertarians, so honorable they have a shot at throwing the election to Hillary.

We have a whole list of conservative pundits and websites, who could swallow the GOP betraying all their 2012 pledges, doubling our national debt and increasing entitlements, without a word about bolting the party, but Trump’s crude, honest talk is too much for their honor to bear?

We have Paul Ryan who is so honorable he has to rush to the microphones and join the media lynch mob criticizing Trump as racist, while the Dems’ race-baiting over 8 years has gotten a pass. Ryan’s priority is to protect his own, oh so honorable brand, as a compassionate conservative, superior to the voters as well as Trump.

There is nothing honorable about choosing to lose.

Shakespeare has the famous line Octavian says to Brutus - “and you’re an honorable man.”

The repetitive praise become by accumulation an insult.

Conservatives who would prefer to lose to remain honorable in truth bear nothing honorable about them.

If you aren’t going to fight for our country, then good-bye!

We’re done with you.

I think Trump is going to run, to win.

Trump is a fighter. He is smart, he is principled, and he appeals to a lot of people.

Don’t worry. He’s not McCain, Romney or Cruz. He is pro-American, and really wants to fix the things which politicians have sold out.

Trump is the right guy, for the job. He is right, and he believes strongly in our country, and in what he is doing.

Go Trump.

We’ve all heard Trump say it. He’s a “winner”. He wins.
He sure proved that among 15 other establishment losers in the primaries.

The dems must be plotting for their very lives right now and knowing them, anything could happen.

Pray for trump and America.

"Message to all you so very honorable constitutional conservatives: Trump is a far better constitutional candidate than anyone we’ve had a chance to vote for since Reagan, who also had his flaws."

So Hillary doesn’t know the biggest news story in America which happens to be about her own campaign. But she is bright and smart enough to be President. Oh ok.

I think what is truly honorable or not is about what the person is trying to honor - God? Themselves? feelings? some one else? God inspired cause (like USofA)?

I was just trying to get an understanding of this myself and found an interview from a while back during the primaries of sharp as a tack Ben Shapiro and the host Dennis Prager. Shapiro, as smart as he is, was putting forth some logical fallacies that the older and wiser, but sympathetic, Prager gently pointed out. I’m not sure where they are on this now, but I found it an illustrative half hour or so.

John McCain, who was too honorable to criticize Barack Hussein Obama.

John McCain was the "designated loser" in 2008. He was supposed to lose to Obama, and he (McCain) knew that.

Mitt Romney was also a designated loser, but they (the establishment) didn't tell him that. Romney was delusional enough to think they might let him win.

Jeb Bush was supposed to be the designated loser this time around, but Trump came in and spoiled everything for them, exposing Jeb as the real loser that he is.

Funny the writer thinks he knows what Trump will do. I have no confidence in his predictability. Still prefer him to Hillary who is 100% predictably anti American.

Great article!

However, the GOPe would not lose if they play ball with Hillary. They would cry crocodile tears while collaborating with our democrat overlords, and enrich themselves. They have shown, time and time again, they are willing to put themselves before their country.
