Three Simple Reasons Why Trump Will Win
American Thinker ^ | July 24, 2016 | Lloyd Marcus

Based on traditional campaign markers and guideposts, experts predict Trump will go down in humiliating defeat to Hillary Clinton. I think they are wrong, folks. Michael Jackson said, “I'm not like other guys.” I say Donald Trump is not like other politicians.

When Trump announced his bid for the White House, snooty political elites laughed, “Look at this idiot.” They had no idea that millions of Americans at home watching were saying, “Yeah! Right on! I like this guy!”

Polls continue to tighten between Trump and Hillary. I suspect some of Hillary's lead is due to voters lying to pollsters that they will vote for the first woman president, similar to the Bradley Effect. In 1982, California voters did not want to be thought of as racist so they lied to pollsters saying they would vote for Tom Bradley, the black candidate. Despite a strong lead according to the polls, Bradley lost his bid for governor.

Another thing that may cause voters to lie to pollsters is their fear of being on the wrong side of political correctness. Voters have seen what happens to anyone who speaks out against Leftist's sacred cow issues. Trump has become the king of political incorrectness. Therefore, some voters feel they must keep the fact that they agree with Trump a secret.

I believe the Trumpster will win the White House for three simple reasons. One: His name recognition. Two: His connection with the common man. Three: American's disgust with the direction our country is going.

Admittedly, the following anecdotes are not scientific, but I think they are quite telling.

Hmm, everybody said Romney would win, too. I hope this guy is right. My thoughts on why Trump will prevail is that we are in the era of the celebrity president, and Trump, for all his quirks, is “way cooler” than the old bag in the Mao-style pantsuits.

I’ve talked to several people who don’t like Trump mainly because of his style. But his children do him a great service and I never hesitate to point that out. And I also mention that it will take someone bold like Trump to clean out the viper’s nest that is our government.

Trump has made me cringe a couple of times with what he’s said but there is no way I wouldn’t support him 1000%.

Reason 4 - American determination to prove the media wrong.

Too Early to tell—and the Media has been bought out or indoctrinated to knock down Trump and boost the Democrat. BUT—Be Warned! They will do anything to put Hillary in Power. That Means even Assassination

Most importantly, no one else is listening to the average person. Democrats are pandering to the 2% gay and body dysmorphic population and they’re screwing over their traditional supporters in labor. Trump will win 55% to 45%.

Except most of the current polls DO show Trump leading:

LA/USC poll, Trump +4
OAN, Trump 50-49, but he’s over 50
Rasmussen: 44-43, but taken last week before the convention
Morning Consult: Trump +4

Only if you go to the terribly biased Reuters or Fox polls do you get a different result.

ALL of these polls are still D heavy, some less so than others. The ABC poll (which I think was a 3 point Cankles lead) showed Trump +20 with indies . . . so they oversampled Ds by 1 and undersampled Is by a ton.

No, not everybody did. Michael Barone was one who did.

I believe many were predicting a big Romney win right before the election. Rush was, I think. Now it may be they were saying that to motivate people to vote.

It was a case of those who couldn't vote for evil, as Lloyd Marcus eluded to, so they allowed the greater evil to win.

Their hopes were to finally elect a conservative. That is why they are so upset, because their plan failed. These same people are now up to the same trick again, thinking that when Donald loses to Hillary, a true conservative will win after one term of Hillary.

What they fail to realize is that she can finish the damage done by Obama, and no Republican will ever be elected again, let alone a conservative.

I hope so, but there has never been a winning candidate with negatives like Trump’s.

On the other hand, Hillary! has some amazing negatives, too.
