Well yeah, I had a loyal cat once that I could whistle up. Even came when she had gone blind.
I did not know they responded to that.
Had a cat for 17 years long ago. The most independent, aloof critter I ever saw. Only time she wanted to be around folks is when food was around. Then she loved you forever... which was approximately about as long as the food was out...
But they are very different from Pooches, for sure...
