Now add Tim Kaine to the mix. In our irrational minds – where we compare everything to our personal experience – Kaine will play the part of the beta male husband whose wife can’t stop complaining about her terrible co-worker, Donald Trump. No guy wants to hear eight years of that. They get enough of it at home.
My prediction is that Kaine will do nothing to improve Clinton’s standing with women. But the Clinton-Kaine ticket is a persuasion disaster in terms of the male vote. Male egos are probably already at a historical low point. Kaine puts a face to that movie. Will men vote to watch Hillary Clinton make Tim Kaine her Whitehouseboy for eight years?

I previously described Timmy as a “lapdog” for Hilly .... I’m thinking I like Whitehouseboy better.

Kaine was desperately chosen to appeal to white voters. That leaves Hillary's leftist base demoralized and many may defect to the Green Party or stay home.
I’ve still not seen many (any?) national polls where Trump hits 45%.
I would love nothing more than a landslide in his favor, but I’m sure not seeing it yet.
The NeverTrumpers are a real problem, and they may very well get their way and put Queen Hillary into the White House.
A good VP can make you look better; a bad VP pick just confirms what people feel about you all along.
No one will vote for the understudy so at best in terms of moving votes its pretty much a wash.
So did the last couple of votes in Britain and the 2014 Republican schlonging of Dems in the Senate.

Hillary has never climbed past 43% and she’s doing even worse than her husband who got 43% on his first run in 1992.
Gingrich has said that she will settle in the high 30’s the closer we get to the election and will not be able to do better.
He also said that if Trump were to be down 5% against Hillary one week from the election he would win in a landslide.
Clinton could not choose black Cory Booker because of the potential for Trump supporters yelling:
“Clinton, book her Dano”

Do not underestimate the disdain with which men view the cuckold. Or the feminized man who has had real men pissing on his shoes since kindergarten.

I wonder how many people were interested in being Hillary’s running mate.
If Kaine is too upsetting to Bernie I think he could subtly steer the election toward Trump. Bernie might actually consider who will make the better president.
