Besides, even if you took this article as the only source of information, you still misread and misstated what it says! 2 not 1 (besides the fact that he had 70-80 or more total, when factoring multiple jurisdictions).
Having a license plate out means if someone, say, hits someone else and runs, or robs someone/someplace, and it’s nighttime, getting their plate as they flee is almost impossible, so it’s a legit concern. Just two examples.
Plus, his illegal drug use invalidated any ccw permit, not to mention that a permit is moot if he reached when told not to reach.
