Not even 24-hours after what many are calling the greatest acceptance speech of all time, Donald Trump is already receiving good news from voters.
Yahoo News reports:
INSTANT POLL: Trumps speech was a hit with voters The majority of viewers who watched Donald Trumps speech to the Republican National Convention on Thursday night said it made them more likely to vote for him in November, according to a CNN/ORC instant poll. The poll found that 56% of speech viewers were more likely to vote for the New York businessman after seeing him formally accept the Republican nomination. 32% of viewers said his speech had little effect on them, and 10% said it made them less likely to cast their vote for Trump in November. Overall, 57% of viewers said they had a very positive reaction to Trumps speech. Meanwhile, 18% said they were somewhat positive and 24% said it had a negative effect.
The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5%. The easily triggered liberal media attempted to paint Trumps powerful and truthful speech as dark, and dismissed it as an exaggeration of the state of America.
Obama was in damage control mode, and went on TV today, claiming that America is safer today than 30-years ago.
See that insane story here.
Not only that, it’s series too!
They said mccain had 38 million watching, So I’ll bet there were many millions who watched it streaming yesterday. I’m a little behind the times :)
Just calling a spade a spade...
BUT, I watched his speech later and focused more on the content. It was a GREAT speech. He said a lot that we WANT politicians to say but never say. Trump was GREAT last night.
There had to be at least a hundred thousand viewing online, given the number of different streams available. Rightside had 32k all by itself.
And the Left is collectively (pun intended here!) losing their minds AND running for cover like cockroaches because Trump shined a very bright light on what a failure Obama was (and what a failure Hillary Clinton could be).
Dark polling?
I set my watch by them.
And they’re DOUBLY TRIPLY ####ed when Bernie’s supporters read the emails from the DNC.
Trump 31.5 mil
Romney 30.3 mil
yes McCain got more ( approx 40 mil) but I don’t see where online and other ways of watching is factored in and they have grown in 8 yrs, so I think Trump did good with 31.5 mil just on tv/cable. (at least that’s what I understand front his article)

Let's hope that they show up in November....................3 months is forever in politics.........................
Source or link, please? I’ve been trying to find the ratings information.
Darkness all around. Oh darkness!
Go take a look at the CNN website right now. On the left is a photo of Obama with a caption talking about how safe things are and on the right is the talk of the killings in Germany.
NVM, I see someone posted a link downthread. :-)
Is is “dark” when you are sick and you go to the doctor and he gives you a diagnosis of cancer and then follows it up with treatment? Seems to me the “dark” scenario would be for the doctor to know and understand the source of your illness, yet continue to tell you everything is fine. Honesty is sometimes brutal but it exposes the TRUE darkness!
I agree, I always watched on the tube, but this year only streaming video and FR :)

Ok...final numbers look like he did better then Romney, but not McCain......that is a bit better. I really wanted Trump to get 50 million viewers. I think maybe he did including internet but they are not counted.
You know the polling was good because the mainstream media has been avoiding the topic :)
Yes< I think my beeber is stuned!
