Washington Post Trump Panic Attack: 'Candidate of the Apocalypse'
NewsBusters ^ | July 22, 2016 | P.J. Gladnick

And there went out another horse that was orange: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

So just how good was Donald Trump's speech last night at the Republican convention in Cleveland? Perhaps the best way to judge that is to analyze the liberal reaction. And from reading the over the top panicked editorial from the Washington Post, Donald Trump: The candidate of the apocalypse, his speech must have been so incredibly effective as to inspire such a level of liberal panic that it reached the heights of unintentional hilarity. Before we read the Washington Post editorial that comes across as self-parody, please watch the following Trump Apocalypse video to put yourselves in the proper mood:

"Tunneling can’t be conquered? Really?"

Exactly. A series of Arc Light airstrikes along the length of the border with bombs designed to penetrate the ground to a depth of five meters will rid us of those pesky tunnels.

Can you believe how universally the media have condemned Trump’s speech?????

There was even one site which was critical, due to Trump ad libbing at some points. They actually highlighted in their text report where Trump had deviated from his written speech.

And they did so to be critical of Trump’s delivery.

Next they will say his tie wasn’t straight. Sheesh........

Apocalypse means revelation.

Are they thinking of Armageddon?

Leave it to the Post to carelessly use rhetoric that they think will resonate with religious conservatives.

Religious conservatives don’t read their paper anyway.

Trump basically sets himself up as the agent of change—which of course he is—and sets up Hillary as the agent of the status quo—which of course...

Reminds me a bit of how eight years ago, Hillary tried in vain to portray herself as an agent of change. She had been working for change for 35 years, she told us.

Recently she said she’s not a political insider. How could the first woman president be an insider, she asked rhetorically at one event?

Post # 5 ~ Well, if it gets them to read the Bible, that would be a good thing. ~ WaPo writers never have and never will read the Bible. That is why they used the word 'apocalypse' out of context; meaning the world will cease to exist when Trump is elected. They thought it was a clever headline... noun | apoc·a·lypse |\ə-ˈpä-kə-ˌlips\ Simple Definition of apocalypse : a great disaster : a sudden and very bad event that causes much fear, loss, or destruction The world will not cease to exist; only "much fear, loss, or destruction" To the Democrats and all leftists!

A series of Arc Light airstrikes.....I didn’t think ANYBODY, except me, was old enough to remember those.

It just occurred to me reading this article that Trump just put the Democrats between a rock and a hard place on the issue of safety.

As rome burns--police being gunned down by leftwing black racists, innocent westerners being slaughtered by Jihadists--they look like Nero fiddling trying to argue that we are safe.

But what else could they do? Acknowledge things are worse but blame Bush yet again as Obama's eight years come to close?

The left is panicking. Between now and the election, they will be looking for ANYTHING they can get Trump on. If they don’t find anything, they will pay someone to “remember” something he did 30 years ago.

I always wanted to try my hand at defeating one of those tunnels...

On your end of the tunnel put about 10 gallons of gas on a small table, .

Seal up your end with a couple tons of sand bags.

Rig up a way to drop the table and spill the gas.

Wait...

Rig up a way to set off a spark.

Watch the horizon for a giant puff of smoke- that will be the other end of the tunnel.

I caught the beginning of the "expert" FNC panel and Priss Wallace started the ball rolling by bytching about Trump being so loud.

Priss thought that Trump really missed an opportunity with his speech because he sounded like he was yelling.

Priss is an moron.
