Thanking his volunteers in Cleveland a day after the Republican National Convention wrapped, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump today slammed Ted Cruz's Wednesday night speech and said he will not accept if the Texas senator ever decides to endorse him.
"He'll come and endorse over the next little while. It's because he has no choice," Trump said. "But I don't want his endorsement. What difference does it make?"
"Ted, just stay home, relax, enjoy yourself," Trump.

Exactly...endorse or don't endorse, not buying what Ted's selling.
That "Vote your conscience" thing will come back to bite Ted's azzz. Come November the Cruzers will face the cold hard choices, abstain from voting altogether or just top of ticket, vote for Trump at no political cost to Trump wa, or the suicide vote for Hillary.
Ted can't bring anything to Trump that Trump doesn't already have.
Also throws a wet towel on Rush, Levin, RedState, etc. in crafting weird mental gymnastics. The train has left the station.
[Trump needs to stop bringing Ted Cruz into the equation,]
He was probably asked about it by the press/audience...
We hope.
The Ted idiocy dragged on for months. Trump talks about it two days later and people are squealing like pigs, “make it stop!”
So. Much. Concern.
Enough with the pearl clutching. This ain’t bean bag. Trump has had his enemies driven before him and now on this site we have to hear the lamentation of their women.
That is why he is called Lyin Ted.
“Hope he doesn’t retaliate by screwing Trump with his senate votes.”
He’d have to show up for work. Not much risk there, IMO.
“Congratulations. You are the 100,002 th Freeper, who used the words “Trump needs to...”. You win the “Have a little perspective about your talents as a political consultant” 2nd prize. Two weekend nights in South Chicago. The 1st prize winner will be there for one weekend. Enjoy your weekend night in South Chicago.”
cruz needs to take a cue from judas and hang himself.
I agree. Let’s move on and win the election.
There are a still a lot worse senators in the senate than Ted Cruz. How about Cornyn, McConnell, Ayotte, Graham, Collins, Corker, Kirk to name a few.
Trump instincts guided him to the nomination.
I trust Trumps instincts more than yours.
“BTW, I don’t think we’ve ever actually seen documentation that he was registered as a US citizen.”
We haven’t. Barack~Barry~Dunn~Obama~Soetero has presented more evidence about who he is and where he comes from in the photoshopped, cut and paste birth certificate. And just like ‘The Lightbringer’, ‘The Anointed’ has sealed his records. How pitiful is that?
I was just thinking Rick Perry should primary the little so and so.
BOL!
Thanks!
Nevertheless, one can repudiate the source, or head it off at the pass as in this instance. No reason to allow turds to pretend familiarity or influence.
Thank you for posting the full speech.
LOL!
I am glad Trump spoke up about Lyin’ Ted and put him in his place.
Trump was quiet about it Thursday, even while Ted sought to damage Trump even more on Trump’s big day, again showing what a classless, self absorbed fraud Cruz really is.
Trump was asked a question and he answered it, and Trump deserved his chance to fire back at the Texas pissant.
It was meant not only as a message to Ted, but as others have so well pointed out, a message to the rest of the old guard of the GOP.
Hold out like Ted, you’ll be treated like Ted.
It is a message that needed to be sent.
Go Trump/Pence!
Good move by Trump. Cruz is the past, he blew it, he’s done. Better just to recognize, as most of the country does, that Cruz screwed up and marginalized himself not just from the GOP, but more importantly from those tens of millions supporting Trump. Cruz is an irrelevancy at this point.
Today was damage control by Trump regarding the future votes of women and former Cruz supporters. He views Cruz as actively undermining him through the media while he is in the spotlight. That is my take on all of this.
‘It is a message that needed to be sent.’
Absolutely! There are a lot of backstabbers in the GOPe. Trump put up with a certain level of non or even anti-support up to the point at which he became the official nominee.
He just signalled that the grace period is over. It’s time to board the Trump train...or get flattened on the tracks.
