The three networks on Thursday night immediately derided Donald Trump’s “dark speech” as one coming from a “vengeful” “demagogue.” On NBC, Tom Brokaw allowed that “some” will see Trump as on a “white horse who will lead them to some kind of sanctuary and then pull the drawbridge up.” But he sneered, “Others looking in are going to see someone they will only think as a demagogue of some kind.”

Dark is what you have with kitchen full of cockroaches. Light is that 1000 watt light bulb Trump switched on with his speech. They are now scrambling back to those dark places away from the light that shows what they are.
Democrats pass out talking points to all their outlets. The keyword for today is, “DARK”
It was a serious speech where he spoke plainly about what is really going on and what we really need.

We are in a dark place.
Look at the number of mass shootings over the last 8 years. Look at the number of terrorist attacks on US soil. Look at the crime statistics for certain areas. Look at the educational achievement in those same areas. Visit a public school in those areas. Sit in the classrooms for a week. Sit in the principal’s office in one of those schools. In many the principal goes into the office, locks the door, and stays inside all day. Every day. I didn’t know this until someone told me recently about a horrible school in Birmingham, Alabama. Bring in a new principal, and the same thing happens within months. It’s criminal.
They are not particularly bright folk. They have no actual argument--no rational answer to Donald Trump's rejection of their bullying approach to any subject. They will increasingly revert to raw insult, because they have no notion of what else to do--truth being completely off their radar screens.
We need, wherever these opportunities crop up, to use them as foils to make our arguments resonate. (Its a working approach--conceptually much like the devise of having the John Wayne type thrash the bully in an old Western
The last thing the left wants is for law and order to be restored inside the big cities. They want dark people to continue to kill each other.
As a trucker I listen to the radio a lot. This morning the slant is how DTs address last night was the longest in memory. I listened and didnt think it was long enough.
The media is more ‘pravdaesque’ than the Pravda of the old Soviet Union.
Isn’t it interesting how the Media is in ‘lock-step’ and calling Trump’s speech ‘dark’ even before there was time to analyze and digest it.

How could Brokaw know any of this? How could anyone know any of this?
Once upon a time he was supposedly a news reporter. News is hard and factual.
The above has nothing to do with news or reporting.
They don’t even pretend to be news reporters anymore. They fully embrace their role as arbiters of proper state approved thought.
