Donald Trump brags about bringing in voters. He doesn't mention the ones he might be chasing away.

Among Donald Trump's proudest boasts is his claim to have brought millions of new voters into the Republican Party.

Part of his strength, his son Donald Trump Jr. said in Cleveland, is his ability to speak to people who "aren't necessarily the traditional Republican voters."

"Actual workers" — like the people who put up sheetrock in Trump's buildings - "those are the guys who are going to vote for us because we're speaking with them, we're not speaking at them, we're not lecturing them," the younger Trump said.

But many party leaders fear Trump has embarked on a zero-sum game: For every new voter he pulls in, they worry, he may chase away an existing Republican.

"The question is whether we can keep the party growing," House Speaker Paul D. Ryan told reporters this week at a session hosted by the Wall Street Journal. "Are we adding, or just adding and subtracting?"

This guy is having Lotus Dreams. They are scared by the enthusiasm that Trump generates, and they know that after the speech tonight, the long-awaited "knife fight in the phone booth" between Trump and Hillary is going to get started for real.

This not going to be pretty, but it's about to get entertaining to a whole new level.

If the primaries are any indicator, Trump has a net +.

He had the highest total of primary votes [14,009,098] of any GOP candidate in history.

Hillary went around for a whole year before the primaries securing delegates...something like 400...BEFORE the primaries.

Remember, 99% of the delegates are political so she owes a lot of people...but that's nothing new.

I don’t think DT is going to allow this sort of thing like the usual GOP limpd**k candidates. He’ll either match their fraud vote for vote or have things monitored so well on election day that it will be minimized. He’s not going to be gamed by a slimebag like Podesta.

Trump will not motivate the RINO moderate voters in the party. However, (1) the primaries proved that he will bring in more than enough real Americans to make up for that loss, and (2) if Hillary can’t scare those moderates into voting, no one can bring them to the polls.

Listen, I live in Texas. I was a Cruzer 100% before Dewhirst. I liked his representing me during the time before the presidential election. I rooted and hoped big time for Cruz, I’m not a big fan of Trump but I’m sorry Cruz let me down big big time last night.
I will not vote for him in 2018.
I am so hurt and disappointed Cruz couldn’t do the right thing. It does it hurts.

I am also very pissed about Kasick, Bushes, Rubio, Carly, etc etc.
