Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton are deadlocked in Ohio, according to a new poll that shows the crucial state very much in play as Mr. Trump prepares to accept the Republican Party’s presidential nomination in Cleveland on Thursday night.

A new survey from Suffolk University finds that Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton each have the support of 44 percent of likely voters, with 11 percent still undecided. When third-party candidates such as Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party nominee, and the Green Party’s Jill Stein are included, Mrs. Clinton holds a four-point lead.

“It’s absolutely up for grabs,” said David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center.

It's going to be all about turnout.

Be sure to get out and actually vote for Trump, or we'll end up with President Hillary Clinton, who will finish what Obama started: the total destruction of the US.

If it says they’re even, then Trump is ahead. AND, Trump is going to move up overall so this is great news.

I just hope that Trump voters won’t get overconfident and think there will be enough other people voting for Trump that they won’t have to get out and vote. This is how you lose elections.

Polls are one thing, but in the end only actual votes that count. And with all the fraud the Dems will commit, we need all the real votes for Trump.

Gee, Trump could have been leading in that poll if the Republican Governor of that state had endorsed the Republican candidate or at least showed up at the convention in his own state.

Cruz, K-sick, Romney, and the entire Bush family completely exposed as enemies of the people. You have to admit, if nothing else, Trump has shined the light on these cockroaches that have been pretending to be our friends.

Which is why Hillary will lose, unless Obama can incite more race wars to get out the Black vote for her.

Well look who wrote the article. Of course them being neck in neck is complete bull$hit unless they are only making calls to San Francisco and Chicago to take the polls....

John Kasich is popular Gov. he should have welcomed RNC delegates the first night, he would have done that even for Democrats.

If Kasich was true to his convictions he could just say the supreme court is why we can’t let Hellary win. The constitution will be changed, taxes will go up .

Trump should be up + 5% in Ohio, Kasich is hurting the GOP chances.

Overall, it’s good news for Trump, but it’s not a slam dunk. Both Trump and Clinton have almost 100% name recognition, so it is unlikely that any of those who have declared support with shift. But at 11% undecided, there are a lot of people who know both but like neither.

The good news for Trump is that Clinton has a track record so people can make a quicker judgment about her. Trump just needs to give the undecideds a reason to vote FOR him (not just ‘he’s not Hillary’) and he can take a very large majority of the undecided voters.

I don’t believe any poll with Hillary ahead anywhere.

Yep, totally agree. This is the same media that says Hillary is 9 points ahead in Utah. Gotta be kidding me, Hillary is downright toxic around here except for a few liberal enclaves like Park City and resorts that Robert Redford owns.

9 points, jeez. McCain shellacked Zero by 36 points in 2008 in Utah and I swear he was trying to throw the election. Hillary is ahead—in an alternate universe.

Trump will win Ohio by at least 5.

Hillary has spent over 20 Million in Ohio alone, trump hasn’t spent anything to speak of, and she’s break even at best in polling there...

Trump hasn’t even begun to unload on her, and she’s tied or behind in PA, OH and FL, with Hillary spending 10s of Millions on these states...

This thing is going to be a blood bath for democrats.

Absentee ballot voting this year for me. Already filled out the forms and it’s on the way.

Not taking any chances of feeling sick that day.

But how the #### does having a Green party member in a four way race BOOST clinton by 4?!?!!

If it’s a four way race, why show head on? Anyone know?

I’m hoping a Midwesterner like Pence will help put Trump over the top in OH and other Rust Belt states.
