Not necessarily. Cruz is still relatively young and like Richard M. Nixon—who everyone thought was politically finished after his loss to Pat Brown in the California gubernatorial election in 1962 but made a spectacular comeback to win the Presidency in 1968—Cruz will learn from this experience and maybe 8-10 years from now, become a viable Presidential candidate again.

Cruz is not now nor will he ever be a ‘natural born’ US citizen. It won’t matter if he lives to be 100 years old. Ted Cruz is NOT eligible to hold the office of US president, his parents did not bestow that requirement upon him. I am repulsed by the likes of the Limbo bros who deliberately speak with forked tongues about the ‘original intent’ of our Constitution and then act as if magically Ted Cruz is eligible. POX on them.

That’s what Rush said earlier; almost word for word.

In eight to ten years there will not be enough voters left who will be unaware that Eleanor Elizabeth Wilson had given up her British and United States citizenship for Canadian citizenship in order to get subsidized medical care while she was pregnant with Ted.

He is done.

He may learn something from this event but the real voters have long memories........

His self serving speech will be political fodder for any individual running against him in the future........

Cruz NEVER learns from his mistakes and is INELIGIBLE to be president!

Wake up....Teddy is a disgusting, stupid little man; to know him is to loathe him. And after last night, anyone with an IQ above room temperature, can't stand him. WAKE UP AND SEE REALITY!

“Cruz will learn from this experience and maybe 8-10 years from now, become a viable Presidential candidate again.”

Won’t happen. He won’t be anymore eligible in 8-10 years than he is now.

He can be as viable as he wants to democrats, queers, lesbians, black lives (don’t) matter assholes, and anybody else he can get to listen to him.
I started out this election cycle strongly supporting Cruz, now the only yes vote he will ever get from me is the one where he puts a gun to his head and asks if he should pull the trigger.

I think the problem with that theory is that he’ll look and sound even sleazier when he’s a decade older.

“Cruz will learn from this experience and maybe 8-10 years from now, become a viable Presidential candidate again.”

Cruz’s problem isn’t lack of experience or knowledge, things that can overcome by learning from mistakes; Cruz’s problem is lack of judgement, lack of common sense, lack of human empathy for others, inability to work with others, and a massive, massive number of character flaws, including monumental ego, monumental arrogance, lack of honor, and inability to be truthful. These kinds of problems are simply not fixable by learning from experience.

It is so sad that there are still people out there that won't admit that a person born on Canadian soil to a foreign father is not eligible to be President.
