A Deeper Look into Ted Cruz’s RNC Convention Speech…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | July 21, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 07/21/2016 11:30:25 AM PDT by COUNTrecount

Before Ted Cruz walked onto the convention stage in Cleveland, Donald Trump had a very good idea what was about to happen. Without pre-planning, or staged set-ups, Trump knew what to expect because Donald Trump has an exceptional political sense; he knows how to read his adversaries.

Throughout his life, Ted Cruz has exhibited a character of division; entirely tone-deaf to the people he encounters and leaves in his wake. Those who knew Cruz in grade school and college have talked about how Cruz’s abrasive personality made him a lonely person despite his intellect.

Toxic abrasiveness is the same reason why President George W Bush would not elevate Ted Cruz in the White House 2001-2005. Attorney Cruz was 30-years-old and arrogantly thought he should have been a candidate for Attorney General; unfortunately, no-one else did.

Years later it was toxic abrasiveness that drove candidate Ted Cruz to run for Senate in 2011 – to show those same political voices he carried a stronger political tool box than he was ever given credit for.

That same toxic abrasiveness in 2013 is what created a lonely, divisive and ineffective Senator -with zero legislative accomplishment- who announced a presidential bid only 2 years after election to the Senate. And it’s that same personality issue that creates a need for a disguise to be successful.

Donald Trump can sense these things the way most of us can sense the same given enough time around similar characters. As a consequence when Trump invited Ted Cruz to speak at the RNC Convention, he knew what was most likely going to happen. After all, it was entirely predictable.

However, by mid-afternoon yesterday any doubts about what direction Cruz was going to take were easily dispatched by looking at his actual engagements.

You’ll see them at Halloween parties as the “Cheetos Brothers.”

In fact, they’re going to reboot the Blues Brothers as the Cheetos Brothers. Their task is to raise enough money to save the mental asylum that raised them.

Cruz stepped all over the Vice President’s big night too.

The talk this morning and today should have been about the vice president, not about Cruz.

Since it was already known that Cruz was not planning to endorse Trump he should have not been given a time slot to make a speech.

This is also the rise of the silent majority not silent anymore against the lame-stream media and this is also another great battle that must be won.

And what does Ted Cruz have to offer in this great battle against this media?

He offers himself as a tool for yet more of their media lies and spin, false narratives and propaganda against us!

He is now one more bomb in their arsenal to attack all of us, a convenient tool for them to try and silence us and defest us and hurt us and our families and Ted Cruz became their tool for his own selfish reasons and ambitions and, frankly delusions that borderline a cultic mind, and that is why from this day forward I despise Ted Cruz, his wife and his lunatic father and everytime I see his stupid smirky face I see a stinkung fart in the room morphed into a creepy turd with arms and legs that is too full of his own worth. Get the hell out of my life you creepy Ted Boos Cruz and go wipe your nose without using our kleenix you pathetic loser, go borrow a roll of Hillary’s toilet paper and get the hell out of the way, your nose is running, you underpants stink.

“People like this really don’t know, nor really care, how they come across to others. They are convinced that they are superior, and that’s the end of the subject for them.”

It puts Ted in league with Hillary and Obama; total sociopaths and narcissists.

Someone posted a perfect comment about Ted last night:

Q: Why do people instantly hate Ted Cruz?

A: To save time.

Intentionally or not, Cruz patterened his speech on the speech FBI Director Comey fed us about Hillary’s guilt/non-guilt.

Both men laid out a scenario to justify taking a certain course of action.
Then at the end they did not take their own advice.

Comey laid out a strong case to justify his recommendation to indict Hillary and then said he would do the exact opposite.

Cruz laid out a strong case for all true patriots and lovers of constitutional freedom to support the republican nominee against Hillary.

Then he declined to support the republican nominee.

It is sort of like walking your fiance down the aisle then bailing out the back door before you say “I Do”.

Maybe this is old, but I hadn’t heard it before. Yesterday,on Fox, Chris Wallace said a joke going around was,”Why does everyone take an instant disklike to Cruz? It just saves time.”

Naw, heidi will get him a prime position at goldman sachs.

I don't think so and here's why.

Heidi owes her job to the fact that she's married to a U.S. Senator. That gives GS a heads up on every deal Senator Cruz hears about. Plus it gives Heidi/GS a lot of connections.

Being toxic as he is and with few influential friends, if Cruz loses his Senatorial seat, their time in the sun is over.

Ted couldn't even get a job as a lobbyist. He would be unwelcome in Washington.

Since it was already known that Cruz was not planning to endorse Trump he should have not been given a time slot to make a speech.

Trump knew what Cruz was going to do.

He let him go ahead and speak because he knew Cruz would drive a stake through his own black heart.

As dealmaking goes, Trump just got rid of a potentially ongoing headache (Cruz) and killed off the #nevertrump crowd with one fell swoop.

Furthermore, Pence will recover.

Now it's time to focus a deadly gaze on Hillary.

I just thought of something....

Ted Cruz started out and everyone, well almost everyone, said Trump/Cruz...

So Cruz spoke before Pence....see the difference...Cruz is a liar, a no body, born in Canada, you know the whole story...

And then here comes Pence, Governor of Indiana, married and has a lovely family, born in Indiana...

You see the difference between Cruz and Pence? Now who would you want to be a Vice President? I want Pence...

Cruz can go try out for Hillary's V.P. since her favorite pick violated election laws...

If anyone had any doubts as to what a Cruz presidency would be, we were just given a view through the window, and it was pretty frightening.

Ted doubled-down at the Texas delegate breakfast this morning - and tried to justify his behavior by bringing up the over-worn and weak argument that he wouldn’t endorse because his wife and Dad had been slighted. In other words, it wasn’t over Constitutional principles at all that Cruz blew up the convention, it was personal pettiness that was his driving force. He was responded to by shouts of Trump, Trump, Trump.
