The man was doing what he was supposed to be doing. hands up. fingers extended lying on ground.

This officer flinched or has a hair trigger on his sidearm.

I truly have never seen a man in a less threatining position than the one that gentleman was in.

What drives me crazy too is that he was treated like a criminal from the get go. Why does any American, especailly one helping an autistic man, need to immediately lie on the ground an put their hands up when officers show up? Can’t our officers assess a situation and act accordingly?

Shouldnt this bother every American? No offense meant directed towards you, just more of a hypothetical.

Must have been a hair trigger for three rounds to go down range.
No excuse. The leo should be relieved of his weapon and in cuffs.
Law enforcement officers are held to a higher standard, and the hair trigger excuse isn’t gonna work.
Keep your booger hook off the bang switch until it’s time to fire.
And the autistic adult had a toy, a TOY TRAIN for cripes sake. No gun involved.
