As a former rabid Cruz supporter I am VERY disappointed that Cruz didn't put his country first and endorse Trump and help to unify the GOP in our effort to slay the Hildabeast.

He turned on the GOP just like Jeb did with his non-endorsement.

Totally agree. All those stories about him are true, including trying that scheme to screw Carson in Kansas.

I will NEVER vote for him, Kasich or any of those candidates who have failed to honor their pledge to support the candidate.

In my opinion Ted made a major miscalculation
last night, had he endorsed the crowd and most
at home would have forgiven him his lost cause
campaign. When he named Donald as the party’s
nominee he had the crowd then they were all
waiting for it but it never came. Too bad Ted.
Now he is a liar for not upholding his pledge
to support the nominee.
He lost me at his non-support over the Chicago
protest violence but this is just one more straw.
He didn’t do himself any favors by keeping it personal.
He can forget about running in four years.

I realize that Trump made some mistakes during the primary, including the examples Cruz cited, but trying to disrupt the convention and help Hillary Clinton get elected is inexcusable. I predict that Ted Cruz will be a one-term Senator and perhaps not seek reelection.

Look for Dan Patrick to run, even if it means challenging Cruz in the primary.
