A Deeper Look into Ted Cruz’s RNC Convention Speech
Conservative Treehouse ^ | July 21, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 07/21/2016 4:03:01 AM PDT by detective

Before Ted Cruz walked onto the convention stage in Cleveland, Donald Trump had a very good idea what was about to happen. Without pre-planning, or staged set-ups, Trump knew what to expect because Donald Trump has an exceptional political sense; he knows how to read his adversaries.

Throughout his life, Ted Cruz has exhibited a character of division; entirely tone-deaf to the people he encounters and leaves in his wake. Those who knew Cruz in grade school and college have talked about how Cruz’s abrasive personality made him a lonely person despite his intellect.

Toxic abrasiveness is the same reason why President George W Bush would not elevate Ted Cruz in the White House 2001-2005. Attorney Cruz was 30-years-old and arrogantly thought he should have been a candidate for Attorney General; unfortunately, no-one else did.

Ted? Autistic? I think we’re getting closer to his problems.

Could have been dropped on his head as an infant?

To me he’s more of an idiot savant....somebody w/ one great talent...but is otherwise intellectually vacant.

When Boehner made his observation about Cruz, I thought it was hyperbole, guess Boehner just knew Cruz better.

Hope Ted enjoyed his run, it will be his last.

"Only Cruz sycophants are left believing Ted Cruz has any political viability left at all."

I have to agree with that. I think that many of us who supported Trump, and wouldn't engage in Cruz bashing were disappointed that Cruz couldn't elevate himself by being politically graceful. To me, he is certainly no longer viable.

Not Asperger’s. Cruz needs a brain MRI.
Probably massive neurotoxoplasmosis.

Ted’s an aspie. I know because I’m also an aspie. We both fundamentally don’t understand how people think. I’ve just devoted more of my life to studying how people think while he’s spent his time on politics and power.

Getting closer to his neurological problems manifested by his political idiocy.

I can’t wait for good old El Rushbo to make excuses for this idiot today. Actually, I think we all know Rush won’t touch this with a ten-foot pole.

My perception at that time was that Cruz was a good man for the GOP, while Boehner was a disaster. I couldn’t understand his criticism of Cruz. After last night, my perception of Cruz has changed for the worse. Boeher still remains as a politican disaster though.

The fate of the country is at stake.

El Rushbo won’t lift a finger and actually DO anything about it.

No matter who wins, he will make millions.

Without getting out from behind the EIB microphone.

We have so outgrown him.

Laura Ingraham proved herself a patriot last night.

She put her Fox appearances on the line for Trump and country.

God bless her.

Ted Cruz does not fundamentally understand how human being think. He’s brilliant and focused in some areas, but when it comes to how people think he’s clueless.

He's Sheldon Cooper?

Believe it or not, I saw a blurb here on FR yesterday stating that Ted is already planning a run in 2020, whether Trump runs for reelection, or not. He must have come up with some new ideas for rustling delegates. In Texas, rustling cattle could get you shot. What’s the penalty for delegate rustling?

Another UNIPARTY eunuch who lies. The lie is the weapon used most often by the criminal/socialist/totalitarian. Ted Cruz and the rest of the Gang of 535 along with former members Barry, Hillary and Kasich should be in federal prison. Land of the thieves...
