There is no doubt Ted Cruz handed the Democrats a gift last night. This is why so many people are upset with him and this is why Cruz is finished as a Republican - at least at the national level. Maybe Texas will keep him as senator. We'll see.

A bright career flushed down the toilet. Cruz was only 45 years old. He could have done anything he wanted long term. All he had to do was get behind Trump this election cycle and he would have been in the mix and able to set himself up for bigger and better things down the road. What a shame.
