The Trump staffer who took the fall for lifting several passages of Melania Trump’s speech from an earlier address by Michelle Obama is a registered Democrat in New York, public records show.
Meredith McIver, a longtime writer for the Trump organization, admitted that she had helped Melania compose the speech she delivered at the GOP convention Monday night.

She’ll have to go and produce speeches, which will be noted ahead of time probably as to who wrote them, and every single problem....comes back to her as a professional speechwriter.

This was posted yesterday. The woman has worked closely with Trump for years including helping write some of his books. Being registered Democrat is par for the course in NYC. Trump was not that long ago. She explained her error, took full responsibility including offering to resign, and Trump told her to stay. I trust his judgement. Sorry if that’s not as fun moles and sabotage.

One careless moment by her Republican staff almost resulted in severe damage. In these days when progressives and democrats behave like enemies, trust no one; do a background check on everybody.

Democrats have always been America’s enemies. They were just more subtle about it in the past.
I tend to agree with car-vile, it looks intentional. Any first year college student, high school with those who receive better educations, know you don’t rearrange a few word previously stated public ally and pass t off as original. Trump’s compassion makes her a looser, much like me again Kelly.
If I heard correctly, she offered her resignation and it was declined. That shows great compassion and forgiveness or great stupidity IMHO.
