maybe ted couldn’t, but almost everyone else in the world who has at least two neurons in their skull that can bang against each other could have EASILY predicted the scope of the vitriol. about as easy as predicting the vitriol that would result if Cruz had spoken at the NAACP convention and begin screaming the N-word at all the attendees.
Zombies always vote for Dems, so, by extrapolation...
The only good news out of this is that the dens will believe the msm spin. What they don’t realize is that Trump has unified the party more than anyone understands

I watched it live on C-Span and MY impression was EXACTLY that he got booed off the stage, plus a little help from the “hook” that Trump pulled when Trump showed up on the convention floor at the end of Cruz’s speech and all the cameras and attention turned to Trump while Cruz floundered and continued to be booed until he left the stage. That’s being booed off the stage in my book.

I got 2 calls about 6 hours before Cruz’s speech from the Cruz campaign team. I didn’t answer the calls, but that was what came up on the caller ID. Makes one wonder.
Ted Cruz got up and proved tonight to the immediate world that the better man did win the nomination - Donald Trump.

Looks that way. Trump tweeted after the convention that he’d seen the speech a couple of hours before Ted spoke, and deliberately let him go ahead and do it anyway. Anyone reading that speech before hand would have had to know that Cruz would be committing political suicide in an EXTREMELY public manner.
To me, the real question is how come Cruz didn’t know that’s what was going to happen. Insanity? Monumental arrogance? Completely out of touch with reality?

however, I saw an email on another thread that someone said they received today , Cruz asking for donations and said freedom and the constitution a lot and to fight for that and he will or something like that , sounded just like his speech and asked to donate whatever you can

There must have been nevertrumpers telling him this was a great idea. Some commenters on NR actually thought it was the bravest thing ever in politics. Which it wasn’t. It was egotistical and classless.
Cruz has always been socially tone deaf. Probably has a touch of autism.
He thinks that if he says the words freedom and the Constitution and fight for freedom and etc. a few times in a speech in his stupid fake preacher I'm so sincere fake act that he will have Americans cheering and following him . and he did fool a lot . But not tonite . Everyone is on to this fraud now.
I know they say that every man has his price... but: frequent flier miles? REALLY -- ?!? ;)
