Agree, it’s pretty simple that my kids could understand honoring a pledge. I think most Americans, again why they like Trump, can see these simple things that alot of elitists look over.

During the speech Fox kept flashing to the Trump children. They sat silently and gave him only occasional mild applause. They knew no endorsement was forthcoming. I have never heard anyone who is not a rock ribbed conservative say a positive (or even a non-negative) thing about Cruz. He never stood a chance to be president and now he will never, ever come close to receiving his party’s nomination. He is not hated because he is some uncompromising conservative. He is a douche.
Levin probably will. But Rush has been clear that he’ll support whoever the nominee is.

Think for a moment...Cruz could not have been fine or he would not have thrown in with Beck in the first place. Cruz had a good act going but the real Cruz came out in the stress of a tough campaign. At least that is how I see it.

The mood was angry enough that Heidi Cruz, Cruz’s wife, was hurriedly ushered out of the arena, with some Trump supporters chanting “Goldman Sachs” at a figure who formerly held a senior job at the securities firm.
Cruz congratulated Trump in his prime-time speech, but the Texas senator only mentioned his name once and ignored calls from convention delegates to explicitly back the nominee.
Near the end of Cruz’s speech, the crowd began chanting, “Trump, Trump, Trump,” and “Say his name,” trying to encourage Cruz to formally endorse the nominee.
But Cruz merely replied, “I appreciate the enthusiasm of the New York delegation,” continuing with his prepared remarks.
“That was uncalled for,” said Nate Leupp, a South Carolina Trump delegate who had committed to Cruz if there was a second ballot.
When SlimycRuz said that to the NY delegates, I knew his political career was over.

That everything else about Cruz never stood up to scrutiny was strike 2-49.
Apparently Trump has tweeted that he saw the speech beforehand and knew Cruz wasn’t going to endorse.
