I would only disagree with your concept that she is 'used' to it because I don't think Ted wears the pants in that family. I wonder if Heidi even allows him to have Cable TV in the doghouse.
I think Heidi is used to having a 'stage presence' and knew it was important for her not to get mad over what was obviously clumsiness during a faked(meaning it was done only for the cameras) hugging session.
I would agree with you on the concept that Heidi is used to hiding her displeasure in order to achieve her goals.
