Yes I remember you posted that.
Cruz is a Canadian Fraud . Now he just gave the media soundbites to divide the Republican party and get Hillary elected who will give amnesty to illegals.

Trump will stop illegals, Muslims/Islam , the media and China which are the biggest threats.

Cruz told people to vote their conscience, and admired the New York delegates for their enthusiasm. It never dawned on him to keep his promise and support the winner of the nomination.

In my opinion, the GOP came up with that contract idea to keep Trump from forming a third-party run. They (and I) did not expect Trump to win, but he did. Now these people have shown that they cannot be trusted.

Trump was not even in my top three at the beginning, but I am full supporting him now.

Cruz, the Bushes and Kasich (just to name a few) make me want to puke.

Laura Ingram (sp?) laid it all out in comments and told everyone to grow up and get behind Trump.

Wow. I’m a pretty solid Cruz critic, but even I expected him to have enough sense to stuff his ego for a night, and try to help bring the party together.

*************

My thoughts as well. I couldn’t imagine that he would self destruct like that. He could have taken the high road and preserved his political viability. Instead he drove off into the ditch.

When they realized Cruz wasn’t going to endorse Trump, the crowd rightfully booed Cruz at the end of his high-flying, nonsensical rhetoric that was supposed to sound presidential.

Trump essentially gave Cruz the hook when he walked onto the convention floor and drew the cameras away from Cruz, thereby bringing Cruz’s speech to an end with the boos ringing from the crowd.

Cruz is FAR stupider and more egotistical than I had imagined to stand up in front of the party faithful and make a speech that was about nothing buy disloyalty and which was guaranteed to draw the boos that it did.

"I didn’t even watch the speech but I knew what he was going to say. Setting himself up for 2020."

You should watch it then.

He didn't set himself up, he deleted himself. To be the loyal opposition, one has to have ideas. Ted just has resentment and the ball he's picked up and is taking home. The kids will not play with him again, and nor should they. Ted is for Ted. In Political Solitaire, you're always the one who gets to president, and should be president in the real game, if the other kids weren't so stupid.

Up to this point, many like me knew something was wrong with Cruz, but couldn’t put our finger on it. Now, we can.

He has a messianic personality. I was never comfortable with that.

He’s a likable enough personality superficially.
A less-than-credible political presentation so far.

I wish Sen. Cruz was one of my US Senators than the ones I have right now, Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken.

Worked for Cruz, donated to Cruz, he’s a dead man to me now. Classless. Sheer lunacy on his part thinking he can capitalize and run for persistent in 2020. Hillary will have completed the destruction of America by then. Cruz will have the blood of our nation on his hands as well.

Like hell he's dead to you - you just declared Hillary the next President.

Go back to DU, scum. You really are not anywhere near how smart you think you are.

I was a Cruz guy from the beginning, but when he blamed Trump for the Marxist protesters in Chicago, I began to see I was wrong about him, tonight confirms it. I never was a big Trump fan, but he is the ONLY choice if you care about your country more than yourself, Hillary will be the end of America if she is president.

Those aren’t principles....those are delusions of grandeur.

Exactly right. He has a messianic personality. That’s why none of his colleagues are willing to work with him.

On top of all the disappointment Cruz provided me tonight.... just watching him tonight shows that he has no real personality or like-ability. He is completely condescending when he speaks. The American public hates that. He will be white-washed if he ever wins the nomination. I would bring myself to vote for him, but he would have virtually no hope to win the presidency.

On top of having a POTUS we trust, we also want one we can like. Cruz just doesn't bring that to the game. Sadly, he seems to have none that coaches him when it comes to delivery of his message.

I know this makes me sound like I want an entertainer, but I am just honestly evaluating his electability.

When this election cycle began, I was for Scott Walker first, and Ted second. It didn't take long for Ted to drop several places on my list. I am so disappointed with him.

Cruz has definitively shown that he is a small, petty man who is overcome by blind ambition.

Sad to say but it is pretty hard to conclude anything else. Disappointing. I don't see this as causing any long term damage to Trump. Cruz, on the other hand, may have done irreparable damage to his political career.
