1. Resist the urge to defame the entire party.
2. Paint the picture.
3. Commit herself to bipartisanship in foreign policy.
4. She can defend George W. Bush now and then against Trump.
5. Elevate the qualities Trump lacks; support the values he derides.
This list shows the author is a screwball and can’t comprehend the concept of secondary effects.
#3 and #4 will tick off her base, particularly the CodePink weirdos.
Whatever she *might* gain from the Republicans she doesn’t have already (GOPe), she loses from her base.
She does all 5 (doubtful for her), at best it’s a wash.
If Rubin thinks the conservative base would back Hillary, she more delusional than I thought.
I will not ever pull the lever for her, rest assured.
I’ve been on record as saying she is the prohibitive favorite for the White House.
But if you ask me if the American people should keep her well away from it - my unqualified response is yes - and I hope they follow suit.

I may be an old conservative cynic, but I don't think those will win it for her. Here are my five:
1. Face Off! Just like in that John Woo movie, a facectomy would vastly improve her chances.
2. Huma! Huma! Beach Party Video! Men like lesbian porn, right?
3. Weiner on a bun: Anthony Weiner comes out as gay and...hey! This one makes leftist sense, because according to their math; 25% of everyone is gay. Hill needs to mine that vast trove of gay Republicans.
4. Someone else said Seppuku. There are no bad ideas, let's work with that. This is a one shot deal, so Hillary signs a binding contract that she will commit ritual Japanese suicide on January 20, 2021. Hill gets one term, and the rest of us get justice.
5. Hillary goes full Commie! In other words, she pivots to the right to appease the slightly-less wide eyed useful idiots, and all the "independents", you know, those squishes that think having no ideals is a virtue.
