A Freeper found this right away....very strange how this all happened. According to the NY Times Melania didn’t use the speech written by 2 speech writers and instead used what was written by a ballerina who has a degree in English lit...or something. Yikes!
The good thing is most of the speech was nice and Melania came off as totally charming.
Well, then, I guess that makes him better than the usual assortment of untrained journalists. /s

Now, even the regular media has picked up on the alleged possibly that Melania has been accused of plagerizing some speech by Michelle Obama.
But if the media were to look at facts, they would report that the Michelle Obama speech did not have a copy write and that Michelle, unlike Melania, did not write her own speech, and contrary to what some media may have implied, the entire speech was not copied from the 2008 Michelle Obama speech.
Um... yeah.

IMO the more I look at this, the more I think Trump has rope-a-doped and trolled them again.
Everywhere you went yesterday you found side-by-side comparisons of Melania vs. Michelle’s speech. Comparing the two Melania comes out VERY favorably. Composed, elegant, beautiful, pleasant, with a genuine love of country. Everything that Michelle is NOT.
My third grade teacher, Mrs. Lyons told us about how “The strength of our dreams” would carry us through life. That was in 1958. I’ll bet if you dig around in quote books and sites you’ll find that phrase and simular phrases go back hundreds of years.
When a journalist writes a story it’s always about them. With a reporter it’s about the facts.
I aint buying it. This was all a set up. Some speech writer in the Trump campaign did this on purpose and tipped off the media that it was coming. There is no way you’ll ever convince me that some journalist remembered those cliche’s from Michelle Obama’s speech 8 years ago.
Dennis Praeger just read a statement by Melania Trump’s speechwriter. Melania gave the writer some examples of people she admired and that included Michelle Obama. She cribbed notes but never checked the exact content of the earlier speech. The woman offered to resign but Trump did not accept it.
This whole story is a big NOTHING.
My God the media and libs are desperate. This is all they have? The lines in question were the type of banality found in nearly every single commencement and valedictorian speech in history. “Strength of your dreams.” “Your word is your bond.” Who hasn’t heard those a million times.
He took a minor "who cares" non-story and the Dems and their media lapdogs, who haven't had anything else to whine about for the past two days, keep beating this extremely silly non-issue like a rented mule. Talk about a story going viral.
And this is significant. Because going into day 3 of the convention, THIS IS ALL THEY'VE GOT.
A cheap shot at the candidates wife. A beautiful, articulate woman who will make a much better First Lady than Bill Clinton, and WAY more presentable than Michelle the Mau Mau.
So far the Black Supremacist Party (the newly coined name of the recently united "BLM/Black Panther" howler monkeys) has been pretty tame, probably because someone tipped them off to the fact that that you can't "open carry" in Ohio unless you have a valid Concealed Handgun License, and none of them could pass the FBI background check. Not to mention all the white, black and Hispanic middle class people legally practicing open carry, probably for the first time in their lives.
So. Trump seems to have pulled off a miracle. No violence, a great show, and the delegates seem to be having a great time in Cleveland.
But next week, we have the democrat convention to look forward to, and that will be a totally different story. Take a lesson from 1968 - when the hard core left wing rabble are dissatisfied (and when are they not, right?) that the democrat party is still going to be called Democrats (a misnomer if there ever was one) instead of Democratic Socialist with neo-communist sprinkles on top, they can get very anarchistic and burn down cities. It's like the Sunnis vs the Shiites. Watch out, all you liberal democrats in Pittsburgh. The chickens are coming home to roost.
