Why did the passage ‘sounded familiar to’ the “unemployed journalist” who zoned in on this in the first place? According to Katy Waldman at Slate, ‘word is bond’ has now been claimed as a ‘black’-only phrase - and so, spoken by Melania, is viewed as racist “in the signature American way of a white woman who takes from a black woman.”
And that, more than anything else, may be the why of all the manufactured hoopla.
Why do refuse to admit those 23 words structured in that order were lifted from obama even after speechwriter admitted and apologized that she had been read the speech and took notes. You cant find anyone at anytime on the net that has used that 23 word structure...can you

A Freeper found this right away....very strange how this all happened. According to the NY Times Melania didn’t use the speech written by 2 speech writers and instead used what was written by a ballerina who has a degree in English lit...or something. Yikes!And then Melania lied about it, saying that she wrote the speech. Which is the real problem here.
