You're fired! Trump to purge federal government of Obama henchmen with aid of new law making it easier to ax civil servants

Chris Christie, the New Jersey governor heading shadow transition team, reveal plan for law change to clear out Obama's appointees 'As you know from his other career, Donald like to fire people,' Christie said in closed-door meeting with donors Campaign is drawing up list of federal employees it wants fired if Trump wins the election Christie said law change is needed because Obama could make his appointees proper civil servants who are more difficult to ax Move would be an attempt by Democrats to embed liberal ideas and practices on government after party is booted from White House If he wins the presidency, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would seek to purge the federal government of officials appointed by Democratic President Barack Obama and could ask Congress to pass legislation making it easier to fire public workers, Trump ally, Chris Christie, said on Tuesday.

Christie, who is governor of New Jersey and leads Trump's White House transition team, said the campaign was drawing up a list of federal government employees to fire if Trump defeats Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 presidential election.

'As you know from his other career, Donald likes to fire people,' Christie told a closed-door meeting with dozens of donors at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, according to an audio recording obtained by Reuters and two participants in the meeting.

They will get off easy if they are only fired. Some will be prosecuted and some will turn states evidence.

They’ll never get the Republicans in Congress to even pass the legislation in the first place.

With Obama's precedent-setting misuse of Executive Orders, Trump can just laugh at the survivors of the now defunct GOP and purge away.

I believe this is confirmation of that old saying "What goes around, comes around".

1- I’ll never understand why Bush didn’t do this.

Because Bush is a good cop. Obama is a bad cop. They both want us to confess that the State is Lord. They are the two sides of a two headed coin.

We know this because he did not clear out the communists, America haters, careerists, islamists and others.

We know this because he accomplished zero things conservative, and accomplished many things obviously statist.

We know this because he never defended himself; nor did he attack his "opponent" with anything approaching the vigor that was needed; he was a sandbagger.

Laura Bush is pro abortion.

We got duped, plain and simple.

I saw his speech. Hillary will say she’s innocent under the law until she’s proven guilty....which has already occurred.

I caused a stir a few years ago when the state was facing budget problems. I said in a meeting that if they wanted the place to run better and save money at the same time, fire all of the managers.

It was quite fun, actually.

And prosecute Hillary, Lois Lerner, and John Koskinen (let’s drag John MaGaw up from whatever swamp he got off to, and prosecute that arrogant b@$t@rd, too).

If Trump becomes President, he's going to need to use the phrase You're Fired! way too many times just to rid of a lot of bureaucrats....

She can say anything that she wants to, bringing her felonious actions to millions of “sheep” may make them question her “credentials” and ‘qualifications” to be president.

This happens with every incoming presidential administration. Some of the appointees are “allowed” to stick around but most are fired/resign shortly after the inauguration.

Even if Hilary is elected, she has a plan to fire most of Obama’s cronies and replace them with her cronies.

Federal employees being union members (AFGE) has always ticked me off as they work for us. Union membership for them is ridiculous as the military is not union. Lois Lerner is still being paid. Generals and other retired military already have enough years of federal service to retire after serving a day in their GS job.

No true revolution, nationalist or communist, ever succeeded unless the bureaucracy, military and civilian, was cleaned up. Lenin abolished the Tsarist secret police and bureaucracy and established his own. While some ex-Tsarist military personnel were assimilated into the Red Army, they were junior officers and NCOs who were not overtly hostile to the revolution. After Ireland successfully established near-independence from Britain, the Royal Irish Constabulary and British civil service were eliminated; the Garda was established as a Free State national police force and a new Irish bureaucracy established. On the other hand, neither Salvador Allende in Chile in the 1970s nor the leftist government of 1930s era Spain fully purged their respective armed services of traditionalist officers. They paid the price.

Trump will have to follow the cleansing practices of Lenin and De Valera if he truly wants to revamp the Federal government.

VA bureaucrats falsified waiting list records in order to get bonuses. That would be fraud in my book, yet there were no indictments. There should be more than just firings, but criminal investigations.

Fire them down to the GS7 level.

Then, get Congress to pass a bill stating whenever a president is sworn in, every federal employee has to submit a signed and dated resignation letter. Which can be used if they are or have been violating the law or the scope of their job.

Sounds like a good short ranged plan: The Clintons figured out how to do it—create reorganizations in every department and then make every manager apply for the jobs if they want to stay in their agency. Then the resumes can be examined one at a time.

Congress is useless. But in today's world Obama has made it so Trump can do everything with Executive Orders.
