If he wins the presidency, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump would seek to purge the federal government of officials appointed by Democratic President Barack Obama and could ask Congress to pass legislation making it easier to fire public workers, Trump ally, Chris Christie, said on Tuesday.
Christie, who is governor of New Jersey and leads Trump's White House transition team, said the campaign was drawing up a list of federal government employees to fire if Trump defeats Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 presidential election.
“As you know from his other career, Donald likes to fire people,” Christie told a closed-door meeting with dozens of donors at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, according to an audio recording obtained by Reuters and two participants in the meeting.
Christie was referring to Trump's starring role in the long-running television show "The Apprentice," where his catch-phrase was "You're fired!"
The Trump campaign did not respond to requests for comment.
Trump's transition advisers fear that Obama may convert these appointees to civil servants, who have more job security than officials who have been politically appointed. This would allow officials to keep their jobs in a new, possibly Republican, administration, Christie said.
“It’s called burrowing," Christie said. "You take them from the political appointee side into the civil service side, in order to try to set up ... roadblocks for your successor, kind of like when all the Clinton people took all the Ws off the keyboard when George Bush was coming into the White House.”

1) Dept, of Just-Us.
2) Dept. of State
3) Dept of Home Sec.
after that, the federal judiciary.

He needs to start with State Dept.. FBI....CIA....Pentagon..IRS...abolish DHS...EPA....the list goes on.

All the top people appointed, and that is the key word, appointed by Obama - cabinet officials, their assistants if not confirmed by Congress (and even then get rid of them), all Obama agency spokespeople/aholes, all Obama appointed US Attorneys by state (let those who want to keep their jobs reapply and go through a thorough vetting. Their must be a few honest ones amongst them).
All the heads of the military from the AF academy to West Point, Annapolis, and Affirmative Action promoted people, mainly women.
Clear out Homeland Security’s PC and cowardly/ignorant leadership.
Clean out the EPA leadership. Too many fanatics there. Need sensible people to properly handle environmental cleanups and related issues, not petty fascists and powermongers.
There are some good people in EPA.
Close fascist regulatory agencies by Executive Order, fiat, defunding or bulldozer, whichever is fastest (FCC, FEC, Consumer Advisory Boards, waterboards (not keep those), and non-congressionally sanctioned organizations.
Clean out the leadership of the IRS and send them to jail.
Fire anyone in a national security position who took the 5th over Benghazi, the secret Iran nuclear agreement, sales of military equipment to the Red Chinese (govt or industry - no more contracts), or who lied to the media, the govt, and the American people. That should fill up a lot of jails.
Get rid of Comey as head of the FBI; Clapper as head of National Intelligence; and Brennan as the head of the CIA.
That would be a great defeat for ISIS and friends.
Then bomb the shit out of ISIS and its affiliates, collateral damage be damned. Take no prisoners.
Treat Red China as the major threat it is.
Expose Cuban agents in the US, esp. among academia or in the government. (Long story).
Investigate the media for their lies, exposures of US intelligence operations, methods, and policies.
Jail HILLARY on general principles before charging her with treason. The same for John Kerry. We Vietnam guys never forget or forgive.
Investigate Obama for treason over Benghazi, Iraq and Iran. They should keep many prosecutors and investigators employed for years.
INVESTIGATE AND JAIL GEORGE SOROS AS A TRAITOR. Ah hell. Jail him first and then investigate. He doesn’t deserve any Constitutional Rights for his treason.
Investigate Soros’ fronts, BlackLivesMatter, Dream Defenders, New Black Panthers, and other extremists. Create a really powerful, efficient and well funded/staffed House Internal Security Committee. I want a job with them. Let’s do it right this time.
Jail all illegal criminal immigrants we catch here. Forget about repatriating them. Treat them as national security threats, esp. the gangs/drug smugglers, and house them in GITMO, GITMO II, III and IV, in the middle of the Arizona desert (for life).

It is TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire Rogue/Unconstitutional Departments, including their SWAT Teams.
If the entire department is eliminated, ALL the jobs vanish. Move the worthwhile functions back to the States.
Start Over Completely. Rebuild the entire mess.
And Clinton ones, too.
Why not do it by Exec. Order?
