A police car which was parked outside a mosque and Islamic center in Daytona, Florida was firebombed yesterday and a note left at the scene said Black Lives Matter.
No one was in the car, which had been parked outside the mosque as a precaution against potential violence directed at Muslims after the Orlando nightclub shooting.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports:
Daytona police car firebombed outside Islamic Center
The Daytona Beach Police Department may have been the target of anti-police backlash early Sunday morning when someone firebombed an unoccupied squad car parked in front of a mosque and left a note near the destroyed vehicle attributing the act to Black Lives Matter.
According to Police Chief Mike Chitwood, the incident took place about 2 a.m. That’s when someone set fire to the cruiser parked outside the Islamic Center at 347 S. Keech St. The vehicle was engulfed in flames and destroyed.
Chitwood said police found a note at the scene that read “Black Lives Matter A. Sterling P. Castile (Expletive removed) the police.”

The wrong thing burned.
Black lives may “matter” but Black sanity certainly does not.
BLM is really making One Big Ass Mistake Again.....
They’re forcing Hillary to keep black support by supporting them and simultaneously lose support from those of her supporters who are law-abiding.
She’s in between a rock and a hard place.
Black Lives Murder
The filthy scumbag muslims probably left that note.
Where on earth were the officers assigned to that vehicle. This just doesn't make sense.

WH to have party no reason given as to why.
Sounds to me like they put the cop car there to deter firebombings against the mosque, and one of the denizens decided to burn the cop car and blame it on the black murderers.
It still begs the question I posed.

Police in FL often park their cars somewhere, usually to deter speeders, also in school zones, in front of banks etc. All crime deterrents. The cops who bring their cars home with them will also park them out at the end of the side street or in some strategic way. On I-4, they’ll park them on the shoulder with a dummy in the driver’s seat so that it looks occupied. I lived there for 25 years.
We are no longer living in "Leave it to Beaver" times when most neighborhoods and streets were relatively safe all night long.
In my opinion, this was one helluva expensive and potentially fatality-inviting BAD decision to abandon that ill-fated cruiser on the street for hours given the surroundings and the temper of the times.
