Ted Cruz Rewrites Primary History
The Wall Street Journal ^ | July 18, 2016 | Allysia Finley

Posted on 07/18/2016 8:11:00 PM PDT by monkapotamus

Ted Cruz is expected to use his speech Wednesday night in Cleveland to tee up a future presidential bid..

Mr. Cruz blamed his defeat principally on the media, which “liked to paint me as some whacked-out theocrat” and putatively gave Donald Trump $3 billion in free publicity...

Fact check: Mr. Cruz won the Wisconsin primary in early April with the help of the so-called establishment that he loves to hate... in the preceding primaries, Mr. Cruz had gone one for 10..

After winning Wisconsin, Mr. Cruz went on a six-state losing streak in the Northeast...

I didn’t take perry not mentioning trump as a slight. His job was to introduce Latrell. Perry did fine.

Told my friend who was doing Cruz’s private polling. Once he took on Beck as his hype man he was finished. Friend refused to believe this saying imformed voters will not care about this endorsement. Guess the rat sex was worth it.

In four years, Cruz will still be constitutionally ineligible to be president. I hope people will fnally get that through their f@?king skulls.

I hope Mr. Cruz realizes it too. Sooner rather than later.

Well, Lyin’ Loon Cruz is in fact a “whacked-out theocrat”....or at least a wannabe theocrat.

Something is wrong with Cruz. Something seriously wrong. Something is not quite right. Most can sense it but not quite put their finger on what it is.

“Apparently a lot of bible Belt evangelicals felt his pitch was over the line, for a political candidate in the US in 2016.”

Just for the record it was worse than that.

1. Faked prayers using his wife and daughters as props. God fearing people would NEVER i. fake a prayer ii. for theatrical effect in front of a camera iii. for personal gain iv. thereby perverting his role as head of the household v. teaching his daughters by example that God’s name can indeed be taken in vain, vi. for personal gain, deception, or both.

2. Dominionism is a new and perverted doctrine which no Christians have held to in almost two thousand years until very recently. It IS however a deception that would serve to whitewash the participation of gullible Christians in neocon and globalist crimes and oppression.

3. No Christian of any maturity and discernment would allow him or her self to be set forth as the fulfillment of MORMON prophecy.

4. Few Christians, and no healthy ones, would allow someone to paint their self serving aspirations as a reflection of the face of God.

In the South, we who are actually Southern (there are many who are not) KNOW the bible even if we reject or disregard it. “Ted” (he is so fake that not even his alleged name is real) was not just over the top, he was and does actually pervert the Bible and Christian doctrine in order to roleplay a leader. That he got so far, with so many clergy, is a testament to how weak American Christian leadership is in many instances (not all). That he was rejected by the ‘little people’ in the South gives me some hope that all is not yet lost.

It doesn’t matter, because he is and he’s winning.

But my vote certainly would NOT go to that Lyin’ Loon Ted.

“His stunt will soon be just as forgotten and unremarkable, as he too will be.”

For all his self satisfied preening about his oratorical abilities, the only memorable thing he has said was that “Donald Trump may be a rat but I have no desire to copulate with him.”

That’s it. A happily forgettable monstrosity on the political stage.

I would add: made millions and self admittedly gave little/none of it to his church. Then self servingly made his piousness a central plank of his political campaigns. Cruz is a total fraud, IMO.

“Once he took on Beck as his hype man he was finished.”

That is exactly when his campaign began to miscarry.

Melty Face will never get near the White House, let alone the nomination. Icarus has already flown too high for his waxy wings.

I did not know that he had admitted to not supporting his church. I thought the record was simply silent, and know that many prefer to give in secret.

Good catch, and thank you for that. It does indeed belong in the list if he has admitted it.

Ted Cruz is expected to use his speech Wednesday night in Cleveland to tee up a future presidential bid..

If he had any smarts at all, he'd use it to try and forget about his last presidential bid..

Ted’s connected to foreign money Hillary hasn’t even tapped into yet, and they did not pay for weakness.

Ted has a family, abandon for politic influence needed to keep the dirty money comin’ in.

And what’s your point.....?

All you did was manage to repost the delusional griping of a petulant child

Thank you! You got it! My point is that Cruz is a petulant child.

I am loving the RNC Convention speakers tonight. If Cruz gets up and spouts this same crap... everyone else will realize that Cruz is a petulant crowd.

You are exactly right.

But Cruz won’t do any of that.

I once supported him but now I actually think something is not right with that boy.. :-/

The Cruz road show with his wacky sidekick Glenn Beck was totally bizarre.
