Obama: Police Can 'Make the Job of Being a Cop a Lot Safer' by Admitting Their Failures

America's police will be safer when they admit they have a problem, Pres. Obama declared on Sunday at a bilateral event with the prime minister of Spain in Madrid.

Fielding a question on Sunday, July 10, about the violence against police in Dallas, Texas last week, which left five officers dead, Obama said police officers will be safer once they acknowledge their failures:

"There are legitimate issues that have been raised, and there’s data and evidence to back up the concerns that are being expressed by these protesters.

"And if police organizations and departments acknowledge that there’s a problem and there’s an issue, then that, too, is going to contribute to real solutions. And, as I said yesterday, that is what’s going to ultimately help make the job of being a cop a lot safer. It is in the interest of police officers that their communities trust them and that the kind of rancor and suspicion that exists right now is alleviated."

Wow. That's pretty brazen even for him. The message is essentially, "Repent and my people may eventually decide to stop shooting you in the back!"

This is a fairly common attitude among coffee-house revolutionaries who have never seen real blood in the streets. 0bama doesn't have that excuse.

In the mind of a liberal, reality plays no part in policy.

This is similar to the Obama administration’s attitude on school suspensions and expulsions. Blacks are expelled at higher rates than whites. Therefore, racism.

Disregard actual behavior or the why. If the outcome isn’t what they want, racism.

Police departments around the nation will do what they did in Chicago: Let the blood run in the streets.

Obama wants this because they want to ax all local police (state, city, etc.) and go with a national federal police force.

Create the crisis and then use the crisis to implement policy that beforehand was unthinkable. Exactly what he’s done on issue after issue.

Obama claims that there is data and evidence to back up the protesters’ claims.

What is it exactly? Where can we find this data and evidence to analyze? It seem to contradict the data published by Obama’s own DoJ.

It is funny how he said this in Spain.
The one country in the world who took it back its country by throwing out the Muslims in 1492.

The policeman that was killed in Louisiana was a black man. Where the hell is the outrage. Omama is directly responsible for inciting people against the police. Omama only wants to destroy this country and he could care less how he does it, and what lives are destroyed along the way.

“And he could make this country a lot safer if he’d admit his failures.”

Very true, but he happens to be right, this time. I’m not an anti-cop type, but there is a saying: If you’re a good cop, and you know about a bad cop and don’t do anything about it, you’re a bad cop. It’s true, too.

Bad cops need to find themselves suddenly unemployed, and prosecuted, convicted, and imprisoned or executed, as appropriate. Good cops need to be cherished, and supported in their work. And they need to self-police.

We had a bad cop imprisoned here in my area recently. Personally, I think he should be executed. Multiple rapes.

This is the type getting all these other officers killed and injured.

guilt trip card + victimizer/oppressor card + unfairness card + prejudiced/discrimination/bigoted card + blame game + paranoia + whining = libtard strategy

Has this idiot bothered to remember that at each of the shootings supposedly geared against blacks, has been investigated by the locals, and in some cases even when it was not required, investigated by the feds, and justice was served? And that the latest ones, have been over-investigated by the feds and nothing illegal was found?

Hey idiot, the cops shouldn’t admit to something that they didn’t do and Obama’s intrusive federal ACLU headed by the AG, couldn’t fine a thing. They’re not looking for something, They’re looking for anything.

Obama is more than doubling down, he is leading a war against local police. That is his Reichstag fire.

The problem for Obama is timing.

By creating a war on police at this time, just before the General Election, he is painting Hillary into a corner and driving support to Trump.

Luckily for us (but not the poor policemen), Obama isn't good at strategy because he is blinded by his hatred of America and Whitey.

Did he just blame the victims? My Prime Minister might be a talentless douchebag, but my God, Obama is on steaming pile.

Unfortunately I think this war is just getting started. Could eventually make it very dangerous to even vote.

It's like going to a funeral of someone who was killed in a car wreck and asking the widow, "Was your husband at fault?

He just did that( similar) in Dallas.
