Following the attempted military coup in Turkey, former Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King has claimed that there will also be a coup against Donald Trump should he become president of the United States. “If Donald Trump becomes President, you are fooling yourself if you think we’re far from having a coup our own selves,” King tweeted. “I’m dead serious.”

Yes, there has been significant purging of the military of conservative officers. No, it isn’t complete and I don’t see a coup by a still mostly conservative military.
Such a “coup” attempt would be far less successful than the attempt in Turkey, which failed miserably.
However, if somehow a legitimate sitting president were removed from office by force, it would be all-out CW2. The vast majority of the military would be on the right side in that case, upholding its constitutional duty.

If it were me, I would be thinking this guy wants to hurt me. If I were black and some white guy pretending to be a black guy was encouraging me and my family to commit violence while he sits his white butt safely behind his desk, I would know he didn’t have my best interest in mind. I would come to my senses that this guy HATES black people and is just trying to get us killed or at the very least, to destroy our lives.
But, that’s just me.
I am truly sorry that the Turkish coup failed. The Turkish Military stood up for the secular rule of law since the time of Mustafa Kamal (Ataturk). But you need to keep in mind, Shawn, you stupid a$$, that none of the Turk civilians were armed. We like our form of elected government, even though occasionally (see Obama) it goes off the tracks. Your coup against Trump or any elected President would be a short and costly failure. Perhaps you would like to lead it?

Keith Jackson on Fox & Friends this morning said that the Gates/Cambridge incident should have been the end of Obama making judgments about the actions of law enforcement..but guess the criticism after that incident like all others didn’t even penetrate his thin skin and thick skull!
