Seems Twitter feeds are being blocked on news about the base being held hostage. Why? Past 4 hours. Has the base been invaded by Turkey?
How could we have our own base be breached and not secure?
Need to go through the Straights of Hormuz and have a full scale landing on a Turkish beach. Clear a path to the air base with air support and put a stop to this kind of crap.

When I was stationed there 77-78 it went by Incirlik CDI, which meant Common Defense Installation. Base owned by Turkey, with Turkish cops manning the gates. No American flag was flown on base and the words “US Air Force” was painted over on all the American vehicles. The Turks were pissed at us for a US arms embargo against them for stealing American equipment when they invaded Cyprus.

I don’t think the DoD ever publishes locations of nuclear weapons, so all statements about Incirlik we’ve been seeing in current articles is based on second hand information. I assume that location of any nuclear weapon is top secret, at least I hope so.
