Anti-Donald Trump delegates are hoping to stir up trouble for the RNC and wreak havoc on the Republican National Convention next week, The Washington Post reports .
A group of delegates opposed to their party's presumptive nominee is plotting a variety of ways to upend the convention as the nation's focus turns to Cleveland on Monday.
One Louisiana delegate told the Post that some are preparing to bog down the convention with procedural maneuvers.
Others hope to force a roll call vote, a move that would drag out proceedings and give a spotlight to any delegates hoping to embarrass Trump by voting against him while the cameras are rolling.
Several "minority reports," which detail proposals that were rejected by committees, are reportedly in the works.
Some delegates are venting their anger not just at Trump, but at the Republican National Committee and its chair Reince Priebus for quashing measures proposed to the Rules Committee.
"To sound like Donald Trump – they rigged it," said Kendal Unruh, a delegate who has been a leader of the "Never Trump" movement within the convention. "The very thing they scream about is the very thing they did. I want to make this point extraordinarily clear: What a bunch of liars they revealed themselves to be."
Unruh told the Associated Press Friday that she was giving up her mission to "unbind" delegates from the results of their states' primaries and caucuses.
And Priebus declared the "Never Trump" push " over."
While it's implausible that anyone but Trump will emerge next week as the party's nominee, rowdy delegates could still cause a headache for the RNC and convention planners and deal a blow to the message of Republican unity.
I hope people in these states take note of who their delegates are and NEVER elect them again...

I completely respect Christian schoolteachers. But the rough-and-tumble of real-life politics is certainly not for them.
Two thoughts:
1. The NeverTrumps are starting to remind me of the Japanese who were found decades after WW2 still hiding , still target practicing and plotting their attacks on USA, still unconvinced that the war was long over, and their side had lost.
2. This ‘possible coup’ adds a factor of both annoyance and drama to the convention. Could it be that some faction of Donalds’ inner circle is allowing this, or at least not stopping it, just to heighten the intrique?
Unruh credentials should be pulled and she should be sent home.
She had her vote and lost.
Now she better get with the program or get lost.

She needs to be checked carefully for firearms and other weapons and then be quietly relocated to the happy house.
