I have several friends in the Gendarmerie with whom I’ve spent pleasant days hunting. A dear friend of mine is a member of the Paris police force. I don’t intend to cite all my CLOSE friendships, but suffice it to say, you would be far outnumbered.

I free with your comments about France. We have friends in the east, Alsace region, a village near Mulhouse. They own rifles and handguns. They hunt a couple of times a year and shoot now and then.
