I free with your comments about France. We have friends in the east, Alsace region, a village near Mulhouse. They own rifles and handguns. They hunt a couple of times a year and shoot now and then.

I have friends in Alsace as well (Wissembourg). Was there last summer, then over to Lorraine (Metz), and up to Belgium Battle of the Bulge area and Bastogne, and Luxembourg to see Patton’s grave. Have visited most of the battlefields and memorials in France. I’m a Military History nut. Everyone should visit Normandy and a few other places I can mention.
I love the French people. They’ve been wonderful to me. Glad to have some backup here. I’m tired of them being maligned.
