At the risk of taking Gingrich’s nonsense seriously, just imagine for a moment what translating his proposal into action would mean. The government would round up 3.3 million American Muslims, then “test” them to see “if they believe in Sharia,” a notion about which Gingrich doesn’t have the remotest clue. Sharia is the Arabic word for “law”; there’s no guidebook of official Sharia, and Islamic scholars have a multitude of ideas about how Koranic ideas could or should be translated into civil rules. But even if there were, Gingrich is literally proposing to prosecute thought crimes, as well as jettisoning the First Amendment to throw people in jail for visiting certain web sites. And where is he going to “deport” the Americans whom he decides believe in Sharia to?

Far as any testing goes, I don’t really care if they believe in sharia or not.

She has the entire "Justice" department at her beck and call, and can really follow through on her threats.
So, do we see Paul Waldman getting all hot and bothered about Lynch's remarks? You know, little things like: When asked about hate crimes, Lynch said that since 9/11, the Department of Justice has launched “over a thousand investigations into acts of anti-Muslim hatred, including rhetoric and bigoted actions, with over 45 prosecutions arising out of that.” “I think it’s important that as we again talk about the importance of free speech we make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not America. They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted,” she concluded.

I would round up 3.3 million American Muslims and ask them to publicly renounce Islam and sign a loyalty oath to the US. Upon doing so, they would gain the full Constitutional protections to which they entitled, and be treated with the respect and dignity due them. Failure to do so would mean deportation for non-citizens, and No Fly List or Watch List status for citizens.
Adherence to Islam must be seen and treated as a political allegiance, not a religious belief.

Dirty job, defending Islam, but SOMEBODY’S got to do it.
It just does not have to be Americans.
Islam and Shari’ah law are diametrically opposed to the vast portion of the US legal code, and in fact, to many legal codes around the world. There is very little of mercy, or appeals, or amnesty anywhere in Shari’ah, and even less of justice or forgiveness that can be found in the words of Mohammed or in the lines of the Koran itself.
If Muslims themselves can come up with a defense of the tenets of their ideology, and not simply tell people “I’ll kill you!” when inconsistencies in the doctrines of Islam come up, then a real dialogue might be started. Then, of course, the whole belief system of Islam would have to be purged of this default “Kill them all!” pandering to mental illness that seems the basis for the whole ideology surrounding Islam and Shari’ah law.
I do not see that happening until the territories and cultural centers of Islam are invaded and they are put under the same choice they offer members of other religions - convert, or die on the spot.
It worked during the Spanish Inquisition. In 1492, that same year Columbus set sail for the New World, the last of the Islamic Moors were kicked out of Spain, and the mosques were closed for good.

No guide book to Sharia which is just law? Pfffft tell that to the mayor in Irving TX who stood her ground to prevent a Sharia court in TX. She stands tall amongst the hateful threats to her life or her family. This article is full of bull!
